"Who you think he is, is not who he is, Scarlet. He's a liar, an unfaithful person who deceives most girls around, just to get them in their bed,' I clamoured out, as I elaborated. "Don't date someone like him, he does not love you, he just wants you in his bed and I'm saying it to his face and not in hiding Scarlet?' I advised her and she didn't seem surprised at all, at my statement. She was just calm and relaxed.

She said. "It's that all, you wanted to say to me, Alika?"

I was flabbergasted.

"What did you just say to me,' I still couldn't believe what I just heard from her.

"I said if that's all you wanted to say to me,' she asked.

"You mean, you knew about it all along and you still dated him,' I said in disbelief.

"Nolan already told me, that's what he does to girls in the past,'

My mouth gaped open. So that's this Jerk's face name.

Then, she continued and ignored me. "He said, that he's a changed man now and that we should just leave the past in the past for now,' she shrugged her shoulders. "So, he told me everything and I accepted him, so what else do you want to say to me,' she asked.

"Scarlet, you mean he told you everything about his lifestyle and you believed him and accepted him for that and leave the past in the past, right? And, you said that he's proven his love for you,' I shook my head, I felt like a complete fool at this moment. So, he told her everything.

I had to ask this question because I still found it hard to believe that he had changed because of my best friend.

Because, this could be the reason he's behaving this way.

"I'm still not agreeing to this, Scarlet. You've got to cut ties with him before you get hurt and trust me, you will regret it,' I advised and sighed.

Nolan burst out laughing so hard and then, he stopped and said. "My name is Nolan, I guess you know my name now and stop calling me an idiot, Alika,' he gave a smile.

"I don't fucking want to know your name, just leave my best friend alone. I swear, Nolan I will make you regret it,' I shouted at him. Everything is all lies and she shouldn't do that to me, by siding with him.

"Oh, this is the first time, you are calling my name, cool,' he winked at me.

"Quit winking at me, you bastard. If you don't leave her alone, I promise to report to your father about this matter, concerning you trying to sleep with my best friend.' I threatened. However, deep down I can never meet that disgusting old man and report him about what Nolan does. I despise him and I just don't like talking to him. If I should start talking to him, he's going to stupidly think I like him and that I've accepted him as my father with my mother clingy to him like glue. Which is so troublesome, why are most adults irritating anyway and can not observe their surroundings at all or is it that the more they get older, the more their senses begins to get dull and low in their brains?

"Really,' he said and I could feel the mockery in his tone.

"Yes, I will do that. Then, leave her alone,' I ordered and glared at him.

"I thought, you wanted to report me to my father, sweetheart. You can go do that now, I'm not running away and I can assure you that I will still be here, even when you come back. Oh, I assure you, he will get so furious with me and also make sure, you bring him with you OK?' He gave a mockingly laugh and stared at him.

"I see, you are trying to pull my legs huh. Then, I will tell him,' I made up my mind. All of a sudden, Scarlet said.

"Stop this talk about him, hurting me,' she snapped.

I gazed at her in shock.

"Stop it and I'm hating all this already, Alika. I've known the truth about him and he had changed, so what's your problem,' she angrily shouted at me.

"Yes and what are you going to do about it,' she shouted at me. "I've had enough of you, Stop trying to make me be on the same level as you. I'm not on the same level as you, just because you don't want to date someone ever in your life again, doesn't mean that person should be in the same shoes as you are,' she blurted out.

"Yes, of course. I'm saying it to your face and I'm not hiding it anymore, you make me sick and I'm damn tired of it. I'm even pleading with you to let it go, but you are still insisting on me to leave him. If you were truly my best friend as you always claim to be, you will support me and not be against me, dating Nolan. What did he do to you? If you don't date anyone because of your past relationships, keep it to yourself and don't inflict it on me,' She furiously uttered those words in front of me.
