High On Life.

Ever since he was admitted in the hospital his mood matched the ever sullen rainy sky weather. He longed to be free from his bed. Walk among the beautiful blossoming flowers in his flower garden which always reminded him about a time he knew. When things were better, when he was the best version of himself without a care in the world. Without a care about what people may say. When he was high on life. But now he was a shell of himself ever since his father passed away, his mother was on the verge of dementia and insanity. He felt like a misfit, an outcast, a stranger in his own skin. A reject, a social pariah. He kept on wondering on how he had changed drastically. Maybe it was because society expected him to be what it wanted ;a saviour. A ray of light in the darkness. Their hope against what was considered evil, but he was no saviour. "Society puts labels on what did doesn't understand "a friend had once told him. A friend who they had to collide how life had changed. He was an enigma to himself, he was unable to recognize his own reflection in the mirror. Maybe it was because all people close to him seemed to either get hurt or die around him, maybe it was him, he was a curse to everything and everyone he touched. Then it finally struck him an on how to end it. The depression. What it takes was only a leap of faith. Stand alongside the window and let himself drop downwards as he saw his life flash infront of his eyes as the gravity struggled to bring him down and finally a thud and enternal silence. No more pain, no more depression, peace, eternal peace. No more expectations, no more responsibilities just infinite rest. Its true he thought as he kept checking his vitals which kept working but he didn't feel it. Breathing in doesn't mean your alive though. He felt the cold infinite abyss of death calling out his name as he walked towards the widow, only a leap of faith he said but it wasn't that easy, that would barely do the job. Only an energy sword cutting through his heart would do the job, the last time he checked those weren't just lying around waiting for some poor, evil, twisted, diabolical, demented, sadist to pick it up and do the job. For the first time in a long time he was finally in agreement with himself. It was clear he felt suicidal. He could feel the sudden urge to harm oneself without remorse or thinking about it.The never ending struggle between taking his own life or living to see another day. Devils fight with angels everytime a struggle in his mind. A demented and tormented young man in the body of an insane, teenage lost soul. He felt his touch of reality slipping away like sand in his hand. Quieten wanted to unleash the Reckoning yet he was brooding again while the world was in danger. He had made a promise which he swore on his life to keep but after he had fulfilled it, he would finally do it, achieve the silence and peace free from responsibility and societal expectations of what it wanted him to be. Something he wasn't. He had always been happy and content with just simply being himself a social pariah, an outcast, a misfit, a lone ranger. People kept on saying that man was a social being, well he wasn't one. There was something wrong with him. He was broke inside.

"Hey, Tyler your being discharged tomorrow turns out your okay "the nurse who was attending to him said as she walked into the room. All of a sudden his face lit up. He would finally be a normal teenager. What he didn't realize is that during his absence Quieten was a dominating force in school, like a Cancer spreading all over.

As the butcher's son fell down to the ground his gang immediately surrounded Queiten on seeing this Tyler also joined in to try and even the odds. Quieten formed a protective shield inform of a dome surrounding them all.It made what was about to happen invisible to the human eyes around. Punches were thrown, bodies flew everywhere. Blood streams ran deep seeping into the ground. Quieten was taken hold by two well built baemoths who threw continuous jabs and hooks like those of a well seasoned boxer which struck at Quietin at an amazing agility and strength of a panther. Tyler rushed in to help him. Using a metal bar he struck both guys legs shuttering their shins and femur bones. He then took hold of Quitein who immediately took down the shield and they both limped towards their cells.

"Wow! What a rush! "Quieten said.

"Yap that was exhilarating but you didn't tell me you had the superpower element? "Tyler asked.

" I forgot"

"Really? Okay, but let's not get carried away, they will be back "

"And when they will be back we will be ready"

"We? You and what army? "

"This handsome piece of man here "

"We shall see"

As they both limped to their cells it was clear out there for the world to see. The fight had created a bond between them. A bond which in time would to be their biggest downfall. A cursed bond which would unleash one of the most powerful beings in existence. The Reckoning was the worst of them all. It had all sorts of powers nobody came close to it except Tyler's mom. It was a dark force that grew stronger as all sort of evil vices were committed. What Tyler and Quietin didn't realize is that the only way to free the Reckoning was them. A pact had been made between two cosmic entities. The pact was the only thing caging the monster if it was broken it would free. Day by Day as the vices continued increased so did the chains holding it got weaker. The moment the last chain snapped it would be free. The chain was to be broke by Quetin and Tyler's relationship. If freed it would return to claim what is rightfully his and enslave the population.

Eons ago when giants, angels and gods used to walk the Earth, a simple farmer by the name Redneck West lived with his family. He had been blessed with a baby boy and girl. He always did his best to provide for them even with the looming threat of giants. He was a talented assassin. He used to kill anyone or anything which would stray into his compound or was paid to kill by people. In retaliation the giants captured his wife and children torturing them to death. They took out their eyes and tore their limbs apart. Their skulls were used to drink their own blood and their intestines and liver were used to decorate their houses. The giants managed to track him down and when they got hold of him they tortured him slowly and precisely exploiting his weakness. As he felt his soul fading he prayed to every single entity in existence hoping one would hear and one did which dragged him down to the darkest depths of hell. In return for vegenance and making his family live again he made a pact sealed by blood. The pact stated that a time would come when he was supposed to enslave the human population and do as his master wishes. Part of his soul was returned to his body and the other kept as insurance. He took his vegenance on the giants at a cost though. He had been lied to his family didn't come back to life, instead he remained immortal seeing empire after empire fall. His family die after another until the time when some humans gained special abilities. His time had not come yet but of all people he understood that living an eternity can be a curse.
