The emperor had said, fighting the urge to smirk or laugh evilly at the situation. Though, if he only knew the truth, he’llsurely punished Grindel already. Moreover, Grindelhad already expected those words. Those words making him confident enough to say the rest. From hearing those words, he already knew that he’s treating the joke as a truth
