Getting Started

Once the window popped up in front of Astaroth, he as well as every other person started looking at the different dungeon options.

One option that surprised Astaroth was the kingdom option, basically, you would designate an area above ground as the "core" of the dungeon and you would just build a city and eventually a kingdom around it.

Although that sounded cool it wasn't a very viable option, firstly you would be wide open for anyone to attack you, secondly, it would take forever to build up a city strong enough to compete, and lastly, it would be harder to have large amounts of minions due to having to build shelters for them.

The next option was the tried-and-true cave dungeon option, you would generate a cave entrance and build a dungeon inside the cave with the core being in the lowest part, while this sounded like a sure-fire strategy, Astaroth wanted to check out the other options first.

While looking at the different options Astaroth came across the filter and when he looked, he was quite surprised, one of the options that caught his eye was the pre-made section, there were different templates like cave dungeons with different amounts of floors as well as different environments, there was also a pre-made town for the kingdom dungeon option.

That's when Astaroth realized that he had been looking at the creation section where you buy the basic dungeon core and go from there, once he remembered the existence of dungeon points, Astaroth looked at the price for the different dungeons.

The price for a basic core where you build it yourself was between 1,000 - 2,000 dungeon points, while the pre-made options were 7,000 - 8,500, after seeing the prices Astaroth checked his balance of dungeon points and was surprised to see he had 15,000.

Astaroth decided to ask around to see how much others were given and were surprised to find out the amounts varied, while he didn't know the exact reason, he soon realized that those with the dimmer "tattoos" had less than those with brighter ones.

This confused him even more because he didn't know what the different colored tattoos meant, while he was thinking Astaroth heard an alarm and looked up to see a clock counting down from 1 hour, seeing that he had limited time to choose he went back to scrolling.

After 20 more minutes of searching for the right dungeon, Astaroth had almost given up and chosen the cave because none of these options suited him, while there were some cool dungeons like the floating island option, none of these were viable in the real world because they were either too hard to protect or were to out in the open.

Just as he was about to go with the most basic option, Astaroth saw something that caught his eye, there was a category called "Special" which he had missed earlier.

since he had nothing else to do Astaroth opened the category and was shocked to see the option that was in there, while there was only one dungeon type listed in there, this dungeon was perfect for Astaroth.

The name of the dungeon was, "The Dungeon of Creation", while the name was a little cheesy Astaroth realized this dungeon was special to him since it had the requirement of being the demon lord of creation.

since he was Intrigued, Astaroth opened the dungeon and once he read the description he almost yelled in joy, the description was as follows...

"This dungeon type is like a world within a world, this dungeon starts with 5 floors and each floor is like a world of its own, to make things simpler each floor is its own pocket dimension, the owner of the dungeon can customize the climate, ecosystem, and even the kinds of plants, other special things can be added to each floor however that will come with a cost, the owner of the dungeon can also expand each floor since they are their own pocket dimensions, the dungeon floors don't have the limit of space that a cave dungeon would, each floor starts at 100 sq kilometers, the owner of the dungeon can spend dungeon points to expand each floor by increments of 25 sq kilometers, invaders will have to traverse the whole floor to reach the door to the next floor, however, the owner of the dungeon can spend DP to be able to lock travel between each floor. This dungeon is special to those who are blessed by the god of creation."

(A/N from now on dungeon points will be referred to as DP)

After reading the description Astaroth was laughing like a mad man, several people around him looked at him confused and some were even a little agitated, once he stopped laughing, he immediately chose this option.

"Would you like to buy "The Dungeon of Creation" for 10,000 Dp?"

When Astaroth saw the price, he wanted to say that it was expensive but in reality, that was a pretty cheap price for a powerful dungeon.

After Astaroth bought the dungeon, he decided to walk around and converse with some of the other demon lords, as he talked with them several had mentioned they had innate abilities that they could see in their status screen, of course, none were stupid enough to divulge what kind of abilities they had but at least it served as a reminder for him to look at his own.

"Status"

[Name: Astaroth]

[Race: Demon Lord]

[Main Class: n/a]

[Sub Classes: (n/a) (n/a) (n/a)]

[Dungeon Points: 5,000]

[Innate Skills: (Perfect Memory) (Aura of a Conqueror Lv 01)

[Passive Skills: n/a]

[Active Skills: n/a]

"Huh so this is the status screen, interesting, but wait, my name is listed as Astaroth? I think that's what Ellis called me before I was reincarnated, but why does the name sound so familiar?"

After a few more moments of thinking it finally dawned on him...

"Wait, isn't Astaroth the Great Duke of Hell! why did they choose for that to be my name, sigh, well what's done is done, but at least it's a cool name."

After that Astaroth was sitting on a window seal in the banquet room thinking about his first move once he's sent to Terra, as he was deep in thought, someone approached him who he had seen earlier when he surveyed the room, the person who came up to him was a girl who also had purple markings and eyes, her markings were relatively bright although they weren't as bright as Astaroth's the marks and her eyes were still non the less bright.

"Hello, my name is Lilith, may I ask you for your name?" said the girl with a smile

"Uh sure I guess; my name is Astaroth it's nice to meet you," said Astaroth with a complicated expression

As the two were talking, Astaroth was observing Lilith's posture, facial expressions, and hand gestures, during his time as emperor and even back on earth, Astaroth had to read people almost every day, so using that skill he decided to watch her and see if she had lied or hid her motives during the conversation.

Lilith wanted to team up and form an alliance with Astaroth and a couple of the other "Purple Demon Lords", though it sounded like a decent idea, Astaroth noticed that when he asked about what they would do once it was just them left Lilith dodged the question and desperately tried to rope him in, he even noticed that she tried to show off her massive bust to try and entice him.

While this might've worked on him back on earth, Astaroth had been through many situations like this one, so he's become pretty good at noticing thots and getting rid of them.

After another 30 minutes of Lilith trying to convince him to join, the woman from earlier came back out and announced the end of the timer.

"For everyone who didn't choose a dungeon type in time, you will be given the dungeon core itself and will have to find a suitable place to put it, now it's finally that time, in 1 minute you will all be sent to a random area of the continent, good luck everyone and may the best demon lord prevail!" said the woman in a cheery voice

Just as she finished talking everyone one by one started disappearing in a pillar of light, while others were ogling at the pillars of light, Astaroth was deep in thought...

"So we're going to be sent to a random spot huh, I hope I'm not too close to a human kingdom, although I want to raze them to the ground I'm still not ready to pick a fight with the whole of the human race as well as the gods who back them."

"Plus, hopefully, I'm sent somewhere with a load of low-level monsters, I only have 5,000 DP left and for some reason, I have this nagging feeling I'm going to lose all my DP before I even step out of my cave."

"Another good place would be the beastmen kingdoms, from what I was told by Shin and Ellis, demi-humans sure do hate humans for the abuse they've suffered for millennia."

As Astaroth was thinking, the pillar of light finally washed over him and when he looked up, he was facing a shabby looking castle that was barely 1,000 sq meters, at first, he had a surprised look on his face because he wasn't expecting to have a castle so soon but after looking around it, he soon realized...

"This place is a dump! Come on, there are cobwebs all over the place, the decorum looks terrible, and this shabby shit brown carpet runs throughout the castle! Sigh, I guess it's better than nothing."

After looking around Astaroth got to thinking...

"Now that I think about it, won't most if not all demon lords have no shelter, I mean, this dungeon is special to me only so wouldn't they just start in a cave or on the surface?"

After calming down Astaroth soon realized he was very lucky to have this shitty castle, it's better than nothing he thought.

"I wonder if I can spend DP to upgrade this place, let's see..."

"Status!"

[Name: Astaroth]

[Race: Demon Lord]

[Main Class: n/a]

[Sub Classes: (n/a) (n/a) (n/a)]

[Dungeon Points: 5,000]

[Innate Skills: (Perfect Memory) (Aura of a Conqueror Lv 01)

[Passive Skills: n/a]

[Active Skills: n/a]

[Dungeon Management]

[Dungeon Point Shop]

Once he saw the new options Astaroth had a sigh of relief, he refuses to believe that there wasn't anything he could do to upgrade the place, plus he needed to see if there was a shop, but the cherry on top is the management tab, with this, it'll become a lot easier to keep up with the dungeon and who knows what other kind of features it has.

After he had opened the status screen a notification popped up that surprised Astaroth...

[Would you like to have a randomly generated assistant for free, or would you like to create a custom assistant for DP?]

When he saw this, he was quite perplexed, on one hand, he wanted to save the rest of his DP but on the other who knows what kind of assistant he'll get, after weighing the pros and cons, Astaroth decided to create a custom assistant.

[Assistant Creation Tab]

- Race

- Gender

- Age

- Height

- Body type

- Personality

- Skills

"Wow there sure is a lot of customizable options, hmm I think I'll go with this, that, ooh that looks cool, wow these body types sure are... realistic, wow that's a lot of personality types, can't have them be too old, wow the list of skills are impressive...

...

After mix-matching the different options for an hour and a half, Astaroth finally decided on a template for his assistant, first, the assistant would be a female (Shocker I know) she would be of the demon race, more specifically a blue demon noble or more specifically a Blue Demon Duke, She would be 21, her height would be 175 cm, which although may seem tall Astaroth himself is 195 cm, her body type would, of course, be curvy but not to curvy, just a respectable amount of curves, for the personality he had a hard time with deciding, he wanted someone loyal but didn't want a fanatic subordinate, so he went with a secretary type personality, and for skills, he went with (Intermediate Fire Magic Lvl 01) (Basic Mana Control Lvl 01) and finally (Basic Heal spell Lvl 01)

[Calculating costs]

[...]

[...]

[Final cost = 5,000 DP]

When Astaroth saw the price, he almost had a mini heart attack, not because of the price but because his premonition was right, he reluctantly clicked purchase then he got a message saying to wait for 30 minutes to an hour for the creation to finish

...

After 45 minutes or so a pillar of light shot down in front of Astaroth and once it cleared kneeling before him was one of the most beautiful women he had ever seen, she had bright silver hair with blue strands mixed in, she wore a pitch-black robe that had blue accents all over the trim and the robe itself, and she these eyes that shined like two beautiful sapphires.

Once she raised her head, she looked around at her surroundings and then back at Astaroth and spoke three words...

"Greetings, my Lord"
