The fall
The situation was desperate, Sei will just see his mother being killed in front of him, and as a child he didn't have enough strength to do something. He knew it would only get in the way.
But even so, he wanted to do something, he blamed himself for insisting on going to the park, also for being stubborn and insistent, naive and selfish.
But the monster was still in front of him, he couldn't afford to be sad at a time like this, after all, he didn't want to die...
And he couldn't, it wasn't what his mother wanted, she died protecting him. Therefore, Sei came to a conclusion: He would live!
However, this courage soon wears off, as the monsters head towards him.
Seeing that Sei was still standing, the little girl's mother goes to the gun and shoots the monster, but nothing comes out. Realizing this, the woman yells for Sei to run away with her daughter.
The Girl doesn't take it well and yells back "No, you're coming too!"
Then she runs empty-handed to the monster. Her mother, seeing such madness, goes ahead and catches her before the monster fights back, thus leaving the door free for them to run...
The three run through the streets looking for a place to take shelter.
They walk for a considerable time until they reach the city center...
As they walked through the center, they noticed injured, homeless and weak people.
Noticing new faces, a woman approaches them and asks who they are, the little girl's mother introduces herself as Hiroki and the unknown woman as Aoki.
The woman explains how every inch of that place works, but unfortunately they were overcrowded, and there was no room for more people, even more children two children...
But Aoki recommends that they go to Kamakura, she says that there is a shelter there and that there are vacancies.
Hiroki thanks him for the tip, and the three leave the shelter.
On the street again, night falls over the sky, as does a light rain that seems to thicken as time passes.
Hiroki is tired, and in a cold sweat, he can't wait to get to Kamakura.
As she walks down the street Hiroki thinks about the possibility that the meters are not working, but she has no other great options, she has two children with her who need food and a place to sleep, they simply need to get there as soon as possible...
If they got sick she won't be able to forgive herself.
A sudden noise takes away Hiroki's concentration, it came from the end of the street, which was extremely dark, she couldn't see anything...
At the end of the street Hiroki sees white lights approaching them, she pushes Sei and her daughter behind her and prepares for the worst...
But soon a male voice takes over everything, followed by more male voices...
The voices come closer and closer...
And when the light passes through Hiroki's face, a male voice says "They are survivors! There are survivors here!"
"Ma'am, are you alright?" Asks the man approaching the three.
Scared Hiroki asks who it is, because even with the flashlight approaching, it was difficult to describe a face...
The man stops and introduces himself as Gyu, besides he claims to be in the army, and that he was patrolling the area looking for survivors.
Noticing Hiroki's lack of belief, Gyu points to his classmates who came out of the shadows right behind Gyu.
Gyu asks why they are walking the streets, and Hiroki explains everything.
Gyu tells one of his classmates to go back to the shelter and take them with him, the man agrees and introduces himself to Hiroki as Fuyuki.
And then, the four, Hiroki, Sei, the little girl and the soldier Fuyuki, say goodbye to the group.
It doesn't take long and the four arrive in an armored car that was parked hidden near an alley. They climb up and go to the shelter without much trouble on the way.
They go down and pass through the security of the place, they enter and are greeted by a woman who looks at the Fuyuki military and nods her head.
"Very well, officer Fuyuki" says the woman approaching Hiroki and the children...
The woman asks Hiroki what had happened, and again Hiroki explains.
Without blinking, the woman asks a nurse to take care of the injuries of the three...
After a few hours, the three of them are in a room full of people, and that there was a single television in the corner of it, and there was the latest news about the world...
