Imposter!

The first Solo up was one of the introduced trainees. He performed a rendition of Rainism by Rain. He got a good response from the audience. It wasn't bad overall. But his vocals lacked depth, and so the song came out a little underwhelming. Next came DongBang, who absolutely smashed it with Crayon by G-Dragon. His dancing was top-notch, and he did very well on the rap. However, his vocals were still lacking in the range department, making it come out strained when he sang. A few more of the introduced trainees performed and did well. Then came Seol Young's turn. I was interested to see what he would do. So far, he had come across as an arrogant and self-centred person. I wanted to see how he could perform on his own and to see how he would attempt to boost his popularity. Seol Young steps out onto the stage, and we are all shocked at what he's done. The music starts. The crowd seem to recognise the song. At the same time, people start to recognise him. Although it isn't really him. I'm too shocked to do anything. I'm just standing there unable to do anything due to shock. Hyun-Shik is yelling at the staff and complaining. But they don't care. They are in it for the drama. Some of the other trainees, who finally realise what is going on also begin to complain. However, there's nothing that they can do about it.

Seol Young stepped out onto the stage with a completely altered appearance. His hair was dyed snow white. His eyes, with blue contacts. He looks at us and smirks. The music that is playing, is the song that I wrote and performed at my audition. The song went viral and was yet to be released to the public, Move was being played. He had stolen my appearance and song, almost. Some who would look at the video might be able to distinguish my eye colour wasn't blue. But as the video wasn't super clear, they did appear that colour. It's also not surprising that he got ahold of the full song, as the female trainees and younger kids were using it as a dance practice song. Once I had shaken myself out of the shock. I really wanted to march up on stage and expose him. But that would just result in more complicated issues. So I decided to call JYP and let him know what was happening.

"Yo, Jin-Ho! Why do you have a phone? How are you calling me?" JYP answers.

"JYP PD-nim, we have a problem with the shooting of the show!" I tell him

"What's happened?" he asks slightly panicked.

"One of the trainees, Seol Young, is attempting to impersonate me and is using my audition song on stage!" I tell him. JYP thinks for a moment before answering me.

"I can't do much right now, but I can tell you that I have a plan and that it will solve that issue. I just need you to wait for the last couple of episodes. Can you do that?" he asks me.

I sigh, "Yes I can. But what do I do about the whole appearance thing, cause that's identity fraud!" I tell him.

"For now, let it go. His father has quite a big position in the company so we can't do anything immediately. The plan that I have put in place will expose him and his lies. We've been wanting to get rid of him for a while as he is quite the troublesome trainee" JYP replies to me. Now I kind of understand why he was put on this show. There were some rumours around the company that one of the higher up's children was a trainee and one that had caused a lot of issues. However, he wasn't able to be kicked out unless he did something truly awful. This was JYP taking a chance to get rid of him by using me as bait. I clenched my fist at the thought of having to put up with this for however long the recordings will last. But told me that it will all work out in the end. I just have to stay strong.

Seol Young finally finishes his performance. As he comes down the steps he stares at me with the dirtiest look I had ever seen. "Looks like someone needs to have a look at their career choices again" he states in a very condescending tone. Kyu-Bong, Hayashi and DongBang move to confront him, but I hold my hand up and stop them. "Don't worry, the world has plans for all of us" I reply as calm as I could possibly muster at the time. Hiding my expression of annoyance. Seol Young walks off after grunting at my reply. "Dude, why did you let him off?!?!" DongBang complains.

"Relax guys, I have a plan. Also, his father has quite a bit of power at the company, so we can't be rash" I tell them. They back off for now. But still refuse to stop looking at Seol Young like they want to kill him. The rest of the performances went on without much issue. Hyun-Shik and Kyu-Bong smashed it, especially Hyun-Shik with his rendition of Mr Simple by Super Junior. Akira and Hayashi also did very well, performing a couple of Japanese songs. I was the final performer. Originally, I was going to perform another 'stolen' original which was Advice by Taemin. I loved it due to the insane High notes that it includes. But I decided to go with my second option. This was due to the fact that I decided to use Advice as a song later on if I have to compete with Seol Young head-on. Also, I decided that I should probably lay low for now. SO instead I opted to perform my backup song, which was Beautiful target by B1A4. After my performance ended, I headed down to the back of the stage.

"Why didn't you use the new song that you had prepared?" I whip around to see Hyun-Shik leaning against the stage support.

"I'm saving it for a later date," I tell him.

"Why? You could have sung that song, and proven to everybody that you were the original artist for Move?" Hyun-Shik asks me, now sounding a little annoyed.

"I have faith in the plan that JYP has for me. I don't think I should add any unnecessary issues to it" I reply and walk off so I can cool down.

Soon everyone regathers to see the results of the voting. In the end, two of the introduced trainees are eliminated. The winner of the 9 member group challenge was, of course, our group, as the Seol Youngs group was a little, 'one-sided' in terms of performance. The winner of the 3-member group performance was Me, Akira and Hyun-Shik, with DongBang's group coming in second.

The winner of the solo group, however. Was actually Hayashi, much to our surprise. His solo performance seemed to outclass that of Seol Young and DongBang. Seol young finished second, DongBang third, Hyun-Shik fourth, and I took the 5th placed spot. Following that, we were sent back to the dorm to rest, while the staff cleaned up. However. We did not have much rest time, as three days later, filming for Episode 4 began.
