A sense of fashion pt. 2

An early release for you as I have to be out later!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Arriving at the photoshoot location, we were all moved into separate dressing rooms.

"Ok, ready to get started?" Lie Sang Bong asked me while rubbing his hands together.

"Let's do this!" I reply smiling. JYP had requested Lie Sang Bong to help with a photoshoot following the scheduled one, so I was to stay a little longer afterwards. However to start with we would focus on the challenge photoshoot. For this, we had been given the theme of Olympians (The Greek gods), and the designers had come up with outfits that helped to represent these. Each designer also had a team of stylists and makeup artists. For this, my hair colour was changed again from a light brown to a golden blonde. I was given Sapphire contacts to put in as well. I was then dressed in a full red suit with a blazer. The Blazer top was decorated with golden floral wreaths flowing over the top. The pants had a golden dragon curling up my left leg. I was also given a gold tie with red arrows and music notes decorating it. The theme that Lie Sang Bong had decided to go with was Apollo, the god of music. Once everything had been completed I got up and looked at the mirror. I think I looked amazing. With the professional makeup artists doing their work my looks had elevated from what they were. I already believed that I was good looking, but the makeup just made it that much better. The final touch was a little bit of gold glitter added to my hair and face as well as a golden laurel for me to wear on my head. I was then ready to have my photos taken.

I walked out of my dressing room. I was the last to have finished and so photos were already underway. I looked over to Hayashi, who had started to walk over to me. He was wearing a Black and Blue suit with skulls and diamonds decorating the suit. His hair had died Black and he was also wearing blue contacts. One of his sleeves had been pulled up and fixed, and on his arm was a fake tattoo that ran the length of his arm. I could tell instantly that his theme was Hades. "Looking good Roh," I tell him. "I could say the same for you. How have they managed to make you look better than your natural look?!" he quips back.

"Anyway, you should check out Seoul Young. He took over the styling session again I think."

Looking over to the direction that Hayashi indicated I could see a guy dressed in a silver and gold suit with lightning bolts all over. He still had white hair, but his eyes had been given gold contacts and he was wearing a crown. I believed that it was a representation of Zeus. But looking around I could see that another trainee was also wearing a similar outfit. "Which one was meant to be Zeus?" I asked Hayashi. "Ra Chan-wook was meant to be Zeus. Seol Young was meant to have the theme of Boreas. (Greek God of the wind)" Hayashi told me.

"How in the world did he manage to get an outfit for Zeus then?" I questioned out loud.

"Some people in suits turned up with it all. I suspect it was his father's doing" DongBang says as he walks up from behind us. He had the theme of Ares, the god of war. He looked like a soldier in formal uniform with ruby red hair and red eyes. He looked quite impressive. Hyun-Shik also turned up. You could tell at a glance that he was meant to be Poseidon. Hawaiian shirt, trident, coral crown, swimming style shorts. It was a little sad that they had decided not to go the whole formal suit route as I thought he would look good in a suit. There were a few more that caught my eye. One who was representing Dionysus had grape vides wrapped on his right arm and was holding a golden goblet. He wore Purple robe-style pyjamas with green trim. It looked pretty comfortable. The other outfit that stood out was Kyu-Bong's. For some reason or another, he had gotten the theme of Eros, god of love. he wore a Wuxia style outfit that was pure white. It had a turquoise accent to it. He wore golden boots underneath and a golden crown of laurels. His outfit also had a unique design. Golden wings had been embroidered onto the clothing, wrapped around the middle of the top half of his clothing. They started from the back and came around to the front like they were wrapping him up and protecting him. He carried a Bow over his shoulder and a quiver full of arrows with hards on them. He looked like he was happy with it, and he suited it. Of course, he wore a long, blonde wig too. It had been styled into an elven style haircut."Looking Good," I told him as I walked past. "Thanks, you too" he replied to me.

The photoshoot went smoothly after that. Seol Young did pretty well, despite the complaining from the staff at changing his theme. Hayashi smashed it. He looked like a natural. So did Kyu-Bong. Hyun-Shik struggled through but made it out the other side pretty easily after the first 10 or so attempts. Akira got the hang of it pretty fast and was smooth once he got into a rhythm.

Finally though, after about 3 hours of waiting. My turn was up. I stepped up into the set and instantly got into the first position. The set for me was designed as a massive stadium stage. They even had fake supporters put into the seats in the back to make it look real. The stage had laurels growing from it, and the stadium looked to be made of marble. They had spotlights positioned to make it look like the sun was beaming down on me, they made golden confetti fall in the light for effect. I was just to pose on stage in various positions. In my first pose, I was holding a golden guitar first, take completed. The second I was crouching while closing my fists as if I was performing a really sad song, also done in one take. My third out of the five shots was me laying across a throne that had been placed in the centre. I had to look seductive and tempting. not the easiest of looks for me to achieve without feeling self-conscious. It took me about 3 takes to get it right. My penultimate shot was of my back, as I stood their fist held high like I was performing at a concert. First, take and I had it. My final shot was an outdoors shot. I was put on a horse, and I was to bend down and reach out my hand, like a prince offering the princess a ride. I got it after about 12 shots as it was hard to have the horse stand in the right position. I was glad to have learnt horse riding from my father, it helped.

After finishing up the photo shoot, the photographer was very happy. I had finished the fastest and was the most natural in front of the camera. So I wasn't surprised when the results came out.

"Ok, so the results for both rounds are out!" a staff member announces as we all gather around.

He then read out the standings from last to first based on our runway performance. They looked like this:

14: Ho Hoon (1pt)

13: Sin Ji (2pts)

12: Ran Kwang-Sun (3pts)

11: An Iseul (4pts)

4: Sim Hyun-Shik (11pts)

3: Akizuki Akira (12pts)

2: Hayashi Roh (13pts)

1: Chu Jin-Ho (14pts)

I was pretty happy with the result. Especially because Seol Young didn't do too well. I looked over at him and could see that he was furious. He was clenching his teeth and fists, and his face had gone red. "Next, the results of the photoshoot" The staff member then announced. They looked like this:

14: An Iseul (1pt)

"As a result of the standings, we will eliminate three contestants today. I'm sorry Sin Ji, Ran Kwong-sun and An Iseul. But it is the end of the line for you three today!" With that, we hugged the three boys goodbye and ended the recording for episode 4. I then had to stay behind and complete a small photoshoot. It had been organised by JYP. It was for the show promotions for when they release it to audiences. I was fine with that. Lie Sang Bong had me dressed in techwear, with a face mask on. I was then given a White wig, as my hair had just been dyed blonde. They took my contacts out and we completed the shoot. I was very excited to see what the promotion would turn out like. The theming for the shoot was pretty interesting, but I thought that I would save that story for another day and not tell the others about it. Soon after packing up, I headed back to the dorm for a rest, and to prepare for the next challenge that was coming up in October.
