Chapter 69 : The Origin

Seven was running to their position, thinking, 'Please don't kill each other, please don't kill each other, please don't kill each other..'

She kept going, using her renaming strength in her legs to press forward with her remaining speed.

Seven jumped down a large hill, and she saw Duri and Tek looking at each other.

Seven screamed, "No! Don't!"

Duri and Tek ignored her, and they were prepared to fight.

Seven yelled again, "Duri! Tek!"

'Damn! They can't hear me!'

Duri and Tek stood there looking at each other for a few seconds, and then a large wind blasted from them, and the ground cracked in four different ways, making the area shake one time.

The wind knocked Seven back through two trees, and she hit the ground.

Tek's fingers had blood on them, and Duri was pointing at Tek, with blood on his first individual finger.

Duri had tiny holes filled with blood in his Titan armor, but Tek had a volley ball sized hole in his stomach, filled with blood.

Tek dropped on one knee, coughing up blood and spit.

Seven got up from the ground, and she saw them.

"No! Stop! Both of you!"

Tek laughed at Duri, "Hehe…good moooooovvveeee…I'm ssssstillll…gonna killlllll youuuu…"

Duri's wounds from Tek were healing on their own, and he walked closer to Tek, ready to finish him off with his sword.

Seven jumped up high running, and slammed her hand down in the air, and a bolt of purple lightning blasted between Tek and Duri.

Seven yelled, "Enough!"

Tek jumped out of the way, but Duri raised his sword at the bolt, and absorbed it.

Tek's wound was healing as well, and he and Duri looked over at Seven.

Seven said, "Oh shit. Alright…let's all calm down. I'm definitely in no condition to fight even one of you. Even if I was in a condition too, I wouldn't last long. I'm just like, TRYING to stop you two from killing each other. Um…I don't like the way you two are walking towards me."

Seven thinks, 'Wait! I was able to see what happened between the two of them. The both of them wounded each other, but Duri used his finger to wound Tek even more. Even though Duri could've easily killed Tek, he was holding back. And Tek..he was holding back also. Tek could've gone for an instant kill strike, but hit non vital areas, the same goes for Duri; Duri could've used his sword to kill Tek immediately. And also..why are they WALKING towards me?! Their speed is literally unmatched, and they could dash up to me at any moment. They're both…holding back while fighting their inner demons. I managed to pick up Duri's headband while saving civilians, and I've managed to get Tek's book from a child that I saved. I'm charging straight in, I only got one shot at this..I'm going in!'

Seven got into her Spirit of Wrath form, and she lunged quickly at Duri and Tek.

Duri and Tek lunged forward too at quick speeds, and they all dashed past each other, basically switching sides with their backs turned towards each other.

It was a long pause, and a shot of wind was around them.

Duri had his headband on, and Tek had his book in his mouth, but Seven was coughing up blood as she had a slice and a few holes and scratched on her hip and stomach.

Seven almost fell down, but she managed to hold herself up.

'It's okay…I'll manage I think. If I wasn't in my Wrath form..It'd be over me. Just then…Duri and Tek held back on taking me out..they're still fighting the urge to kill within themselves!'

Seven was turning back to her regular form, and she turned around to Duri and Tek.

Duri was back to his regular form, and he said, "Ohh..shit. Fuck. Dammit. What did I do? Who..did I kill?"

Duri looked behind him, seeing Seven.

Duri said, "Seven.."

"Duri.."

Duri looked at Seven's wounds, and he immediately said, "Hold up, I'll patch that up!"

Seven screamed, "Duri look out!"

Duri turned around, and Berserk Tek tackled Duri on the ground.

Tek was trying to stab Duri through the face with his sharp fingers, but Duri was holding Tek's hands back.

Duri struggled, thinking, 'He's strong! I can't even move him! I'm barely holding his arms back! Is this really Tek?! Why does he look like an insane lizard?! How does he look like this? Why is he acting like this?'

Tek's book slid across the ground, right at Seven's foot.

Tek said, "S…Seven! R-R-Read a p-paragraph!! Frrr-fr-from the book! I'll killllll youuuuu….hehehehe…no! H-hurry! Seven!!!!"

Seven bent down to pick up the book, and she asked, "So just any paragraph or..?"

Duri and Tek yelled at Seven, "JUST READ ONE, DAMMIT!"

"Alright! Okay! Don't rush me, idiots!"

Duri and Tek replied, "HEH?! YOU WANNA SAY THAT AGAIN?!"

Seven recited from the book, "To control..to maintain our own demons..we first succeed with containing the mind…to know and realize..we are in control..of us!"

Tek started to change back to his normal self slowly, and all of his chains were going away.

Tek sighed, and he fell on top of Duri.

It was quiet all of a sudden, and Duri put his hands on Tek's shoulders.

Duri said, "Tek. Get…the hell…OFF ME!"

Duri pushed Tek to the side, making him lay beside him.

Duri continued, "NO ONE TOLD YOU TO JUST FALL ON ME!"

"I DIDN'T MEAN TO, FOOLISH CHILD!"

"HAHH?! WHO'RE YOU CALLIN CHILD, DUMBASS MONSTER CHAIN BOY!"

"SHUT UP!"

Seven smiled, and then she fell to the ground.

Duri and Tek looked over at her, and said, "Seven!"

…

(15 minutes later)

Seven was laying inside of one of the houses in the village and she had a blanket laying over her, and she was sleeping peacefully.

Duri and Tek were leaning against the wall there, along with Roga the cat.

Roga said, "I..thank you..all three of you. No one died…but…there are 80% injured people within the village."

Duri responded, "That's good then. But the bad news, your damn village is partly destroyed. How are you guys gonna.."

"How are we going to do what?"

Tek said, "Handle dealing with all of this damage. A lot of parts of the ground were damaged, which will definitely impact the environment and soil."

"Haha, I thank you both for your concern. But we'd rather lose the village than lose our lives. We can all be happy that we survived. We can rebuild this place."

Duri said, "Roga.."

"Oh? You finally called me by my name instead of CAT."

"You're still a little pussy cat."

"WATCH YOUR MOUTH!"

"Tone it down, cat. And what's the deal with Seven and the Spirit of Wrath and the Spirit of Destruction and all that?"

"…It happened a few years ago, when Seven was a child.."

[FLASHBACK]

[SEVERAL YEARS AGO]

Roga's POV: "I had transferred to earth and lived inside of a cat for a day. Got hungry and tired, and since animals have no spirit on earth, I was able to fully control the cat, but I felt everything it felt. I got hungry, tired, and weak. But then..Seven found me. That little girl, finding me behind a dumpster, getting harassed by a couple of teenage boys."

Roga was in an alleyway, with its stomach super skinny and bones showing through the fur. He was surrounded by 3 boys, and they were slightly shoving Roga aground with their feet, and they were taunting him with food.

"Hahaha! Dance little cat! Dance!"

"Look at him trying to reach for the food! Hahahaha!"

They kept harassing Roga, and then behind them, was kid Seven.

Seven said, "Oi! Stop bullying that cat!"

The teenagers turned around, "HAHH?! Get outta here, brat! This ain't your business!"

"I said, leave that cat alone!"

"We said get outta here! Unless you wanna..compare powers!"

The boys started to have a colorful aura surrounding their bodies, and it was colorful smoke coming from their hands.

Seven said, "I don't care about your powers! Leave the poor cat alone! He's hungry and tired!"

"Hehhh? Make us!"

Seven rushed forward at the boys, startling them.

"That brat is coming right at us?!"

Seven slid under one of the boy's legs, turned around, picked up a rock from the ground, and bashed it against the boy's cheek.

The boy smashed against the wall hard, and then another boy yelled, "She got our bro!"

Two of the boys used their powerful speed to ram Seven into the wall, and she fell to the floor. Seven had blood on her face, but she still managed to get up fast, guarding Roga.

Seven said, "Leave…the cat alone!"

The boys looked at her, saying, "Let's get the hell outta here."

The boys started walking away, leaving altogether.

Roga looked at her, thinking, 'This girl…has no power? But she managed to knock a teenage boy into a wall from a good distance. And she seems unfazed by that blow to her head. Could she be a vessel..?'

Seven turned around to Roga, and she started petting him with a smile.

"It's okay, those mean jerks are gone now. Aww, you look hungry, I'm gonna take you home and feed you and play with you, okay?"

Roga hopped in Seven's arms, and Seven stood up, walking out of the alley, as blood from her head dripped onto Roga's fur.

Roga's POV: "They adopted me into their family. And they treated me like one of their own. Her parents were obsessed with protecting Seven, but they weren't too bad. They were loving. Seven trained night and day, she knew she had no powers, but she wanted to be able to fight on par with the ones who DID have powers. She felt left out, and alone because she didn't have special abilities. Over time, I was putting small fragments of my power into Seven, just to see if she could handle it. And she quickly was able to control it. So I started putting more in her body. That's why some of my consciousness is in her and in this cat's body, because I didn't put my full power in her all at once, but delivered it in spurts. Then one day..Val, the Spirit of Destruction came to try and take me and merge with me so he could cause a louder destruction on earth just for the hell of it. My Wrath power would've amplified his abilities. That's when I put my entire Wrath Spirit in Seven, and my spirit bonded with her spirit. And then yeah. Overall, just know Seven wanted to be accepted. It's not attention that she wants, but acceptance. Especially with that situation with her arm. And you two, Duri and Tek, accepted her. She'll cherish that. Seven is a special girl."

[FLASHBACK END]

[PRESENT DAY]

Duri said, "Damn. So that's how she was."

"Yeah. It is. She's actually really caring, she may not act like it, but she is. She was my perfect choice, the perfect vessel to give my power too, and I have no regrets. Duri, Tek…no matter what, watch over her. She still isn't used to using the Wrath form, so she'll need help and guidance. Please."

Duri and Tek looked at each other, then looked at Roga, and nodded.

Duri said, "We got it, cat. And does Seven have anything to do with that crazy woman who creates those giant goo monsters?"

Roga answered, "No. But the situation between Ezrel and this village is still unknown. We have her and Ryu unconscious in the next building."

"Yeah I put Ryu in there. I'm taking his ass with me to see the Time Titan. He might be able to fix him."

"I suppose that could work. How would you even get there?"

"The Titans have a very obvious way of stealing and kidnapping me from this world and taking me to the Titan realm whenever the fuck they want."

"Haha, I heard they were jokesters."

"Yeah you think they're joking."

Tek said, "I've called someone here to help fix the village."

Duri and Roga said, "Heh?! When?!"

"While this cat was pouring out that boring dialogue."

Roga exclaimed, "BORING DIALOGUE?!"

"Affirmative."

Duri asked Tek, "Did you call….who I think you called?"

"Yes. I've called that man."

Roga asks, "Who?"

Outside of the house, Sensei Kei was standing out in the middle of the village, sticking his hand out to everything. The ground was being fixed, and all of the buildings were being fixed.

Roga, Duri, and Tek stepped outside, and Duri said, "Sensei Kei?!"

Tek asked Kei, "I just called you. How did you get here so fast?"

Kei smiled, "As you all must know, I used to compete in tournaments. I gained the ability to teleport to anybody I hear the voice of at that moment. It can even be over the phone."

Duri said, "Yawn. How fucking convenient. But uh..thanks?"

"Hehe, it's no issue."

"So uh..I heard there was a cloak around this village. Is it still there?"

Roga answered, "The cloak probably got disabled when Ezrel was beaten."

Tek said, "The cloak is no longer here. I've checked the perimeter already."

Duri and Roga asked, "WHEN THE HELL DID YOU DO THAT?!"

"During my own time."

"Yeah, okay."

Roga started walking over to Kei, saying, "I thank you for this. Random person whom I've never met."

"It's a pleasant, random cat whom I've never seen before."

"How can I repay you?"

"No need. I do things out of kindness, not for a reward. Like teaching students, I do it so they can prosper, not so I can."

"..That's admirable. That's why I'm in this village. I have a lot of years of experience, and I just wanted to help everyone here get stronger so they could defend themselves. Progress still has to be made, but.."

"You're trying to better everyone. That's all that matters."

On the side, Duri asked Tek, "You got a lot to explain. I guess you already know what I'm gonna ask. So Um..?"

Tek sighed, "It was prophesied that someone in my chain family would have cursed chains that they couldn't control. I ended up getting it, and I have to constantly read the book to control myself and to contain my dark power."

"Seriously?"

"Yes. And I'm gonna ask you something now."

"What is it?"

"That book…if I go berserk again, read it out loud. I do not like you still, but..you're dependable. We've fought side by side, fighting for our lives more than once, I never had that before. Meaning…I can trust you. You may be a bloodthirsty asshole, but you care about others. You are strong, so that's why I can trust you to control me if I go berserk. Wouldn't you agree?"

"Hm. Yep. Same shit goes for you. If I go berserk in my Titan form, you gotta turn me back. Or else a lot of people will die. B-but don't get the wrong idea! It's not like we're b-buddies or friends or anything! W-we're rivals!"

"Of course we are, fool! Why would we EVER be friends?!"

"Y-yeah exactly!"

Duri and Tek gave out fake, forced, and awkward laughs.

Roga and Kei were just looking at them.

Kei said to Roga, "Seems like their relationship is growing. They went from enemies to rivals in a lengthy amount of time."

"Rivals that declare that they will depend on each other down the line for the sake of themselves and the people around them..that's true trust. And eventually it'll be…"

"A friendship.."

(30 minutes later)

The entire village and everything out there was fixed, while some of the able villagers were standing out there surrounding Duri, Tek, Kei, and Seven.

They even had some Hosts and healers out there helping the injured villagers.

Duri had Seven on his back, and Seven was still asleep. Duri also was holding unconscious Ryu in his right hand in a shadow bag.

Duri had a giant bag of clothing material for their outfits for the class presentation.

Kei said to Duri, "You went through all of this trouble just because you were trying to get material for your costumes? Man, your group is interesting."

Duri responded, "This was all Seven's idea."

"I bet."

Roga stood with a few dozen people in the village, and they said, "Thank you!"

Duri, Tek, and Kei looked around, hearing everyone thank them repeatedly.

Seven woke up immediately, and she looked around seeing all of the commotion.

Seven said, "Wait, huh? We're leaving already?"

Seven got down from Duri's back, and she kneeled down in front of Roga.

"Oi, Roga."

"What is it?"

"You figure out what that bitch was after?"

"That's random, haha. But you're talking about Ezrel right?"

"Yeah whatever her stupid name is."

"She claims she thought her created goo gods would come to life and have their own personality if she sacrificed everyone to them. She just wanted to turn her power into gods that people could worship."

"And..that's it?"

"Yeah pretty much. The Hosts will deal with her."

"Cool, cool."

"Listen, Seven, I-."

Seven immediately hugged Roga, rubbing his fur as she said, "I'm gonna miss this place. And I'm gonna miss you too. I know you left us to come to this village to help people..and that's okay. Well, we gave you permission anyway. Because you can talk to animals and they told you this village was gonna plummet in due time. And your dream was always to help those who couldn't help themselves until they could. And thank you for everything you've done for me, and giving me the power to fight. After all of this happened, I feel like I should appreciate everything around me more. I still don't like people though, let's just get that shit straight."

Roga purred, saying, "Y-you're welcome, Seven. I will definitely look forward to seeing you back here again. Make sure you bring these two boys with you two. They're great."

"They're both creeps. But they'll manage."

Duri and Tek said, "HEHH?!"

Seven let go of Roga, and she turned around, and climbed back on Duri's back, wrapping her arms around his neck.

Duri's face was red, and he said, "Yep. Yep. Nothing to see here. Why is everyone staring at me? I kill those who stare!"

Kei said, "Duri, Tek, Seven, I could take you all back to-."

Tek said, "Don't bother. You've done enough."

"Hm?"

Duri said to Kei, "We're going back to Saitama on my shadow dragon snake thing. And you're coming with us. We're not taking no for an answer, Sensei."

"Duri.."

Duri created a long shadow dragon snake behind him, and they started climbing on it along with the clothing material.

All of the villagers were waving at them, even the little kids that were singing during the battle yelled to Duri and Tek and Seven and Kei, "Byeeee! See ya Duri and Tek! And thank you for helping us! Sorry we beat you up earlier! And thank you random old man for fixing our village!"

Kei scoffed, "I'M NOT THAT OLD!"

Duri barely waved back, but he was giving a slight peace sign. Seven was blowing kisses at the children, and Roga was waving his tail back and forth.

Roga thinks, 'Good luck…youngsters.'

The shadow dragon snake was flying away from the village, and Seven was still hugging the back of Duri's neck and back.

Duri asked Seven, "You're not gonna let go of me, are you?"

"You are correct. Is there a problem?"

"No. I was just asking."

Tek smirked, "Hmph. Imagine being in love."

Duri and Seven scoffed, "WE'RE NOT IN LOVE!"

Kei laughed, "Hmm, seems like it."

"SHUT IT!"

Suddenly, the bag that had Ryu in it, started to rustle loudly, and everyone gasped while looking at it.

[Void prison]

Hosts Marshy, Kedarah, Sith, Tetsuya, Chaos, Hanako, and Xenon were walking through the void prison, looking through all of the destruction and all of the bodies laying on the floor.

Seven's parents, Hinata and Zaiyen, were floating and flying around the outside of the prison, inspecting the structure.

Inside, Xenon lit up a cigarette, "What a mess."

Tetsuya answered, "I've checked the memories of the dead bodies around. Seems like this has something to do with Harvest. They broke ex - Host Kin out of here."

Hanako asked, "Did they want Kin back on their side to fight with them or something?"

"From the memories I've seen of someone who saw the entire confrontation between Kin and Harvest before dying, it seems like Kin is looking to target us so she can have her own kingdom, and she needs to build an army. And that's about all I had gotten."

Chaos asked, "Capture us to have her own kingdom? Sketchy. Super duper sketchy am I right? How is this all gonna come to play? Since Kin and Harvest are fighting against each other now? They're all from the same place, it'll be a balanced fight of somewhat similar goals of wanting to rule over something. And it'll be hectic. New people are coming into play in this Reborn and Harvest situation. Which means the tides have turned heavily. During the war with Reborn, Kin was really hard to beat as well."

Marshy stated, "Not as balanced as you think it'll be. Kin is as strong as me, and I'm a hybrid Titan. Sure Titans are the strongest beings to ever live, but there are some races that can go toe to toe with us. And that is the Harvest realm, since they have a rogue Titan giving them power; the Arcane realm since they are constantly getting stronger due to them stealing energy from realm suns; and the Shadow realm used to be a little bit on par with us before that realm got destroyed. Anyway, Kin is out now, and there's no telling where she is. We need to find Kin and kill her immediately."

Sith said, "Kehh…Kehhh.Kehh.Keehh…She might could lead us to the Centurions of Harvessst."

"But lives will surely be lost if Kin is loose. Kin is dangerous. As hell."

Kedarah says, "Reborn, Kin, and Zabel. Threeee main villains we gotta kill! Exciting!"

Xenon said, "It'll be exciting to get revenge on Kin for killing all of these Hosts."

Tetsuya replied, "We'll get it."
