…and Again

We took the train to the outskirts of the city to go to the first apartment Jun was scheduled to visit. It was farther away from the office than Sachiko's house, Jun's father's house, and my former apartment, but it was harder to find an available place the closer you got to the city.

It was located in a ten-floor building near an important avenue. The downsides were that the nearest station was a twenty-minute walk away, and there was no garage or parking lot if Jun decided to buy a car.

The apartment vendor received us in the lobby and guided us to the elevator. I zoned out when he began describing the apartment and the building to Jun.
