Great Games IX

Mr. Yutaka said, "When Katō showed us the script for Starworld Chaos for the first time, we knew it was going to be a hit right away. However, our friends didn't want to scratch what we had for Boodie Buddy 2, especially the programmers."

Mr. Yoshihiko added, "More importantly, they thought the idea was too different from our first game and too big for us to handle this soon as a company. We kind of agreed with them, but we weren't going to miss such a big opportunity, even after they threatened us with quitting. We thought they weren't going to do it and that they would end up loving the project, but they left. You know the rest."

"So, you just had different goals," I said.

"That summarizes it, yes."

"Do you know where they are now?"

Mr. Yutaka answered, "No, they haven't replied to our messages since then. We hope they are doing well."

"They surely are," Mr. Yoshihiko added. "They are very smart."
