Chapter 616: It's normal to argue when the relationship is good

Three days later, Cherry Blossom Garden.

Cherish Turner had been bothered by William Griffith talking about marriage and was even more upset because of Old Master Turner's opposition.

She owed a lot to little Lewis, and if the Turner family really didn't agree to let them be together, she probably couldn't fight for the child, as she hadn't done anything for him all these years.

When William Griffith arrived at Cherry Blossom Garden, he saw Cherish Turner looking distraught and found a broken cup.

"Cherish, what's wrong?"

"Ah... I'm fine, just a little absent-minded..."

"How did the cup break?" He obviously didn't believe her and asked again.

"It was too hot, and I didn't hold it well."

William Griffith stared at her, and her evasive gaze made him certain that there was more to the story.

"I'll clean up." Cherish Turner said hastily and squatted down with a trash bin to pick up the broken pieces.
