It's been three days since the F class students left this academy to go get Monk Talon's scroll, and since then, nothing has been heard from them. There was no connection to call them to know how they were doing, to confirm if they were alive, so the only thing that would confirm that they were alive was if they make it back to this academy.
They were receiving prayers from many people in the academy, every single day, they say words of prayer for the F class students. If they don't make it back to this academy, then everyone would be in the dark once again, they won't know the cause of the apocalypse. And the worst part of it, they don't know if the students were dead or alive.
Apart from that, there was no means to confirm if they were dead or alive, there were phones, but no connection to make phone calls. Captain Wayne's distress had increased, three days now, and they hadn't heard anything from the young soldiers. Were they dead or not? This was the question that kept on ringing in Captain Wayne's head.
Hugo was also worried about the safety of the F class students, like, for three days now, nothing has been heard from them. But three days wasn't enough to confirm if they were alive or not, Monk Talon's house wasn't close to this academy, so getting there wouldn't be a one day journey. First of all, they were gonna journey to his house on foot...no transport.
Secondly, there are obstacles along the way, they'll definitely come across zombies, and they'll have to fight in order not to get bitten by the zombies. So getting to Monk Talon's house, taking the scroll, then journeying back to the academy...that would definitely take more than three days. So there was still hope that the students would make it back to this academy.
But why was Hugo having this feeling? The feeling that they were dead? People were praying for the safety of the students, but Hugo was having the feeling that they had been bitten by zombies. But it was just a feeling though, he wasn't sure, so there was still a possibility that they'll make it back to this academy.
He had been trying his very best to forget those people going around breaking down grocery stores, but he couldn't. Anytime he remembers them, a certain kind of anger would fill his heart. He just kept on wishing he could catch one of them and make him suffer, one that wouldn't be able to defend himself from him.
According to what he was told, all the people engaging in those evil acts were males, no females, and he was relieved by that news. He would have been really angry if he finds out that females were among them, he'll be disappointed. But thank goodness, no ladies among them, only guys, so.
He couldn't just imagine torturing a lady 'cause she was among the people breaking down grocery stores. Doing that would be really hard for him unless the lady happens to be skilled herself. You're a good fighter, so you should be able to receive some beatings.
Coming to the case of the F class students that went out of this academy to get Monk Talon's scroll, those young soldiers. Apart from Captain Wayne being the most distressed person in this academy, the F class students were also very worried. Like, their fellow F class students were out there endangering their lives for the sake of everyone in this academy.
But all they can do was hope that they come back alive. Over the three days that passed, Hugo and Captain Wayne had still been training, and Hugo had been doing a lot of personal training too...both the one that includes sword fighting and martial arts. And he could say that his sword-fighting skills were improving, he wasn't like before.
He could feel that he was getting stronger. Within that three days of training, he had checked his stats twice to see if there were improvements in his stats points, and there were. He also wanted to level up as fast as possible, but that wasn't up to him, that was up to the system.
Only she would determine when he'll get quests, and if he accomplishes them, he'll earn Exp which would help him level up. He's gotten only two quests from the system, but as known, more quests would come up in the future. Leveling up plus training would help in increasing his strength rapidly.
Ryder had become so good at using his weapon that he was about to move to the gun training. He loved combat knives, he chose them as his weapon, and he had learned to use them rapidly. But he still had about two days of weapon training before he'll move to the gun training.
So as Vera also, she had already learned to make use of the bow and arrows, she was good at firing arrows now. She was learning how to make use of combat knives now, and she was picking up really fast. She chose two weapons, so she'll have to learn to use both. She was moving toward the path of learning to make use of guns...it won't be that long before the time comes.
Evelyn and Everett were already learning to use their weapons. Though chain sickles were hard to use, Evelyn never regretted choosing them, she loved them, and she was learning to use them real quick. She's seen other females in this academy that chose chain sickles to be their weapon, and they were happily using them.
Both the ones that were still learning to use them, and the ones that were masters at using them already. The female teacher training her could see the love she has for chain sickles and the improvement she was making, so she put more effort into the training. Everett was a swordsman just as, Hugo, and he was making improvements also.
Just as, Hugo, the teacher training him passed across the information that it's wooden swords they were gonna use throughout the training, and Everett consented. Not like there were options though, using real swords to train would be utter foolishness, and Everett was aware of that.
And it was like that for every student learning to use their weapons, whatever weapons they were using for the training were all fake. You can't be using your real weapon to train? unless it's compulsory, especially for those learning to use bows and arrows, they'll have to use real bows and arrows.
As known, Hugo was also showing great improvement when it comes to using his weapon, he would most likely beat Everett in a real sword fight. He's learned many styles, and he could say his sword-fighting skills had gotten very close to average. Thanks to Captain Wayne, and thanks to his personal training also. He was getting close to learning how to make use of guns too.
All five of them were on the path of learning to make use of guns. Apart from them, other students in the A class were making great improvements also. A class was the least class, but there were still grades in there, how they were divided. This wasn't the doing of the teachers or Captain Wayne, and this wasn't the doing of the students.
This was just how it was in their class. There were ones that had been there for some time, and they were stronger than the rest, but they weren't strong enough to make it to the F class. There were ones that were average and making fast progress like the likes of, Hugo, Ryder, and the rest.
And there were ones whose progress was a little slow, they were learning things and improving...but slow-paced. But the fact remains, everyone was improving in their own way. As known, the strong ones were still training to become stronger. Activities were still taking place in the academy, but anytime they remember that four students were outside in the midst of danger zone, most of them becomes moody.
But as known, all they can do was to keep praying that they'll come back safely with the scroll. Three days had passed, but there was still time, yeah...there was still time. Captain Wayne and Hugo had rounded up with today's sword training, they'll continue tomorrow. Some more days to go, and Hugo would start learning how to make use of guns.
That feeling he's being longing for, that feeling of holding a gun in your hand, he'll finally experience it.
