"Let's sit on the ground". Captain Wayne uttered to Hugo once again.

The both of them sat on the ground, then Captain Wayne said,

"I saw that you were about to start over-pushing yourself, so I had to stop you".

Hugo wanted to use his statement against him, so he said, "But you were the one that told me the failed attempts have to stop as soon as possible".

Captain Wayne glanced at him with a type of expression on his face, then he questioned,

"So, you wanna use my statement against me?".

"No". That's all Hugo said.

"What do you mean no? You just said it now". Captain Wayne uttered with a serious expression on his face, it was a fake one though, he didn't mean it.

Hugo noticed the serious expression on his face and voiced out, "Are you taking it seriously already?".

A smile appeared on Captain Wayne's face as he uttered, "How would I take that seriously? I'm not a paranoid person. But the fact that you made that statement isn't much of a good thing. I said the failed attempts have to stop as fast as possible, but I didn't say you should over-push yourself".

"Sorry for making that statement". Hugo apologized, and it's been settled.

There was silence for some seconds, then Captain Wayne broke the silence,

"I could see the determination in your eyes, you want to learn to use a pistol as fast as possible".

"Yeah, from martial arts, to sword fighting, now, I'm learning to make use of a gun. I wanna become an average soldier, I want to move to the F class". Hugo said.

"Hmmm, with more work, you'll get there, your power level is already increasing. You weren't the same Hugo that came here weeks ago".

Hugo nodded his head, and a little smile appeared on his face, that statement was true, he wasn't the same Hugo that came here weeks ago. Captain Wayne stared at, Hugo, there was something he wanted to tell him, that same thing he failed to reveal to him and his friends some weeks ago. But he decided that now wasn't the right time to tell him, he'll do so later.

Instead, he'll use this chance to remind him of something, something important...who knows, he might have forgotten. That smile was still on Hugo's face when Captain Wayne called out his name,

"Hugo".

Hugo glanced at him, some seconds ago, he was still thinking about the improvements he's made since he made it to this academy, he wasn't the same Hugo...he wasn't that weak anymore. But Captain Wayne's voice disrupted his thinking. The next thing he heard was,

"Even when you've become perfect at using guns, both pistols, AK-47s, and so on, there are things you can't bring down with them".

"Things I can't bring down with them? I don't understand". Hugo uttered with a confused facial expression.

Captain Wayne didn't judge that Hugo had forgotten what he was taught, he just took it like, he didn't place the question well, that's why he was confused. He voiced out once again,

"There are some things that even if you shoot them, it wouldn't have any effect, it isn't enough to bring them down".

Hugo cracked his brain for some seconds before uttering, "Oh, the tier 3 and tier 4 zombies. They have the ability to heal, so shooting them wouldn't have any effect".

"And the only way to kill them is?".

"By cutting off their heads". Hugo retorted.

"That's great, just had to remind you about that". Captain Wayne said.

"That was just like a little brain tester".

"Exactly".

"I think I want to resume my gun training now, or hasn't the time reached to resume it?". Hugo inquired.

"Wow! you so eager to learn how to make use of a pistol. Well, we've rested for a bit, so you can resume it".

Hugo was the first person to stand up from the ground before Captain Wayne, sitting on the ground was like normal thing for them. The shooting started once again, and it was still the same case, close calls. Hugo was even getting fed up with it, but he's got to keep trying.

This went on for a long time, gunshots kept echoing around the compound, both the ones that were coming from Captain Wayne and Hugo and the ones that were coming from other A class students on the compound. And Hugo hadn't still penetrated any of the red spots.

But it wasn't just shooting and shooting, they'll rest for some time, then after that, they'll resume with the shooting, that's how it kept on going. And 'cause the system's quest was involved, Hugo couldn't stop himself from continuing the gun training though none of his bullets had penetrated the red spots.

It was afternoon already, but no one was heading to the cafeteria, there'll be no lunch today. So everyone was just busy with their different activities, both the ones that were training, creating things, some teachers that had no student to train were sleeping in their rooms, yeah...all were part of activities.

Hugo had shoot and shoot, but none of his bullets had penetrated the red spots. Sometimes, it would look like an easy thing to accomplish, but it wasn't easy at all. He had removed and inserted different bullets into his gun, but he hadn't still accomplished his aim. Right now, he and Captain Wayne were sitting on the ground once again...their normal stuff.

It was heading straight to complete evening. It was a normal thing in this academy, training from morning to evening, they had gotten used to it. At this moment, he and Captain Wayne were sitting on the ground close to each other, but they weren't conversing, they were just glancing at the different activities taking place on the compound.

Hugo saw Vera making use of a pistol, she was still a complete learner...but she was cute though. Glancing at her, he smiled, the girl of his dreams...no, no, was this the time for him to be thinking about the girl of his dreams? Like men, he had an aim now, and that was learning how to make use of a pistol within two days, today was making it the first day.

He quickly took his gaze off her and focused them on, Ryder, yeah, the one moving at the speed of light. He's learned how to use his weapon quickly, and now, he was on another level at using pistols. He then glanced at, Evelyn, yeah, the girl that chose chain sickles as her weapon, weapons that were hard to use...but she had learned how to use them as she'll soon move to gun training.

She chose what she likes, and she didn't regret it. He then glanced at Everett, his guy, the one that chose the same weapon as his, they were both swordsmen. He had learned how to use his weapon, and he'll soon move to gun training. Now that he was done glancing at his friends, he came back to himself, the one that needs to learn how to make use of a pistol under two days.

It isn't a must, but it was a must for him 'cause he needed the Exp, every Exp was important to him. He and Captain Wayne hadn't said a single word to each other, they were just enjoying watching the events taking place on the compound. But they can't stay like this forever? Captain Wayne triggered a conversation, and they began discussing.

They talked about other things, other things entirely. They didn't resume the gun training until it got to evening, and not long after that, the cooks announced that it was time for everyone to head to the cafeteria. And this is what Hugo said to Captain Wayne,

"I know that our training for today has ended, but just as I practiced sword fighting and martial arts after our training, I'll love to do the same with our current training. I'll need you to hand me some bullets, and I wouldn't return the gun to you. The wood would stay right on this spot. After I'm done eating, I'll come back to practice on my own".

"Like seriously?". Captain Wayne uttered with a type of perplexed facial expression.

"Yeah, I'm being serious".

"Wow! you really want to learn to make use of a pistol as quick as possible".

"That's the absolute truth".

"OK, I'll do as you say, but after you done practicing, you'll have to return the wood to their proper position. Then you'll return the guns to me and whatever bullets that remain". Captain Wayne said.

"Yeah, I'll do just that".

Captain Wayne handed some bullets to Hugo, then the both of them began sauntering to the cafeteria.
