He believed what the A class students were saying more, there was a very huge possibility that Abner truly said it. But he can't base his judgment on one side's statement. The S-class students said he didn't say it, while the A-class students were saying otherwise.
Now, if he decides to punish Abner for it, it would seem like the punishment was unfair 'cause he was basing it on one side's statement. Everyone might start looking at him like a partial person. He had thought of it, and he didn't want that, so this was how he was gonna handle it.
He glanced at Abner and said, "If you truly said it and are just lying, then that's very bad 'cause if I dare hear it from your mouth, any statement similar to it, I don't care if you're an S class student, you'll get punished severely".
Captain Wayne said that, but there was a lot he didn't know about, Abner. He didn't know that he was a bully, he didn't know he had been bullying weaker students for a long time now...no one reported to him.
