...

Before Aipoms could react, they were already hit severely by the fireball.

At this time, they had lost their desire to resist and tried to flee in all directions.

When Timburr saw what happened to them, it got excited and began to chase those guys who were running away.

It kept hitting them with the log in its hand while shouting at their running figure.

Seeing this scene, Edward couldn't help but smile, but he didn't take any action to stop Timburr from getting its revenge until it was satisfied.

Through this battle, Edward was satisfied that Torchic and Beautifly were getting better at understanding his instructions.

Everyone else also enjoyed watching Edward deal with those bullies.

[The cooperation between Torchic and Beautifly is top-notch!]

[Indeed, that wind and fire combination attack was terrific.]

...

Edward kept an eye on the figure of Timburr, who was causing havoc among the fleeing Aipom in case something turned south.

Also, he didn't have any intention to conquer one of these Aipom.

Moreover, none among them had any worthy talent.

Besides, it's too troublesome to care for this mischievous Pokemon.

'No, thank you. Please spare me the headache.' He thought in his heart.

Finally, Timburr returned to Edward after venting to his heart satisfaction.

While walking towards Edward tiredly, it pulled off something from the ground and mashed it with its hands.

Then after turning it into a paste-like substance, it spreads the paste on the wounds he suffered during the brawl.

It did this repeatedly until its injuries began to heal, and finally, there were only light scars left on its body.

'Healing Herb?' Edward thought in his heart.

Curious, he picked the herb growing on the clearings and examined it with his eye.

'Huh, I didn't expect Pokemon to know about this herb with mild healing properties. It's too bad that I still didn't have enough points to buy the herbal medicine manual from the store.'

Although the method Timburr used the herb is sufficient to heal some minor injuries. But, if Edward has the medicine manual, he is confident that he can make better use of this healing herb.

After that, he quickly collected the herb and stored them in his backpack while explaining his findings to everyone else.

[I can't believe that the herb can heal Timburr's injuries so fast!]

[This herb is so magical!]

[The island is full of treasures. It's no surprise many countries want to stake a claim on it.]

...

Everyone sighed at the various wonder they had seen on the island.

Supernatural beasts, weird topography, the dense mist surrounding the island, and various magical plants.

Each of these things made everyone yearn and want to uncover the full secret of the mysterious island.

After collecting the herb, Edward didn't rush to head back to the camp immediately.

He instructed his Pokemon to do light training to familiarize themselves with the routine training they would undertake in the future.

Then, they also had special training getting acquainted with Edward's command during the battle. They can understand simple commands easily enough, but when it comes to advanced tactics, well, let's just say it is not going well as he expected it to be.

It had been two hours since he left when Edward and his Pokemon finally returned to the cabin.

The smell of food wafting in the air made their stomachs growl loudly. They had forgotten about the time being busy with training.

In front of the porch, the figure of Rosa and Falkner chatting can be seen from the outside.

"I'm back," Edward called out.

"Edward! Finally, you are here. We've been waiting for you. Falkner is about to go out looking for you with his Pidgey."

Rosa asked impatiently after seeing the figure of Edward reaching the campsite.

"Yeah, we were waiting for you for about two hours. Were you training your partner in the jungle just now?"

Falkner nodded in agreement with Rosa while asking curiously.

"Pek!"

Even Pidgey was nodding furiously in agreement.

"Haha, I'm sorry. We were busy training in the woods after chasing out Timburr's assailant. And we've forgotten about the time while we're at it."

Edward rubbed the back of his head embarrassedly.

Although they knew from the live stream that Edward was training with his partners, they still couldn't help but complain.

"Can you teach me how to fight with my partner, Pidgey?"

Falkner asked, his eyes shining with a hopeful light.

He knew from chatting with Rosa that Edward had been training to command his companions in battle since two days ago.

Back then, he watched Pidgey fight a wild creature once. Even though they won, it's mostly Pidgey's hard work while he is sitting in the back uselessly while cheering and hoping for Pidgey to win.

He also wants to contribute to the fight like Edward does with his partners.

"Yeah, I'll teach you tomorrow when we are on the way to the caves."

Edward nodded in agreement after hearing Falkner's request.

"Enough with the boy's talk. Let's eat. The food is getting cold."

Rosa put a stop to them and pushed everyone inside the cabin.

"You guys too, Beautifly I also picked some flowers outside for you."

"Chic!"

"Burr!"

"Pek!"

"Bree!"

That night, a brightly lit cabin by the lake stood beneath the moonlight. Occasionally, a sound of merry laughter can be heard from inside the house.

After a few hours, the light in the small cabin dimmed, and darkness began to take over the surroundings.

...

The next morning.

All of them woke up early and had a quick breakfast before leaving the lake once again to explore the island.

Today, they decided to explore the caves they had visited before located inside the canyon region.

...

"Haa... it's boring. Why are there no wild creatures going out today?"

Rosa grumbled while stomping her foot walking along the river banks.

Edward and Falkner smiled wryly, watching Rosa's antics.

They had been walking for about three hours, wanting to catch a sight of Pokemon along the way. But they haven't seen a single beast since then.

"Look over there!"

Falkner noticed something on the far edge of the river, and then notified his companions.

The figure was gnawing something on the tree log by the river but then threw it off the river, apparently not satisfied with its work. After that, it took another log by its side and resumed its gnawing again.

'Bidoof?'

(Ow yeah, Lord Bidoof is here!)
