CONTRITE FOR HIS ACTIONS 10

At Mr. Ken Israel's House.

"Jeff, I need a copy of that email from the Landlord's Association from Enugu."

"Okay Dad."

Jeff answered before retiring to his room. Jeff is now the only one occupying the room he once shared with Jewel. When Mazi Iluno Okonkwo was ill and on admission to the hospital, Frank visited. Mama and Jewel had to move to the room upstairs to make room for Frank to share the room with Jeff. After Mama and Frank left, Jewel maintained the room. After all, they were both grownups, and they were entitled to their privacy.

Jewel and her mother came downstairs to welcome the father and son.

"Welcome dad."

"Won't you welcome me? Do you think I'm your mate?"

Jeff teased Jewel before walking to his room.

Dora and Ken were already working upstairs when he relayed Mr. Morris's message.

"Mr. Morris sent his appreciation over the lunch."

"Oh! I hope he liked it?"

"I presume."

"That's all right."
