Then, Mr. Ken Israel held his hand while the doctor led them to his office to erase the thought of going to the ward from him.
When they settled down on the couch in the doctor's office, Mr. Ken broke the silence.
"Jordan, I will be returning to Nigeria on Sunday, inform the doctor who came with you too. We are leaving together."
He studied the face of the young man who showed dislike for his order. The doctor was not in support too and Ken noticed it. He feigned ignorance of their feelings and continued facing the doctor.
"Prepare to discharge him on Saturday. I will pick him in the evening. You can go back to your ward."
Jordan walked out of the doctor's office with his legs wobbling and fighting back to stop the tears in his eyes from dropping
"I have to be on my way."
He informed the doctor as he tried to get up from the couch, but the doctor was not done with him, so he halted him.
"Excuse me, IVC. Can you spare me some of your time, if you don't mind?"
