Lorcan roamed his eyes across the vast wheat field that shone like golden particles under the sunlight. Birds flew in the clear blue sky while the soft hum of a stream could be heard nearby. Nature was peaceful and serene. One who witnessed it would mostly feel the same, but not him. His mind would not rest till he found his Rea, and since that was the case, his body, too, couldn't rest. He had not slept for a few days now, leaving his men worried. Poor pals thought of him as a normal being who felt hunger and fatigue. Even a vampire would feel drained during the morning, but not Lorcan. They didn't know him like his beloved did.
