The Comfort

It's the first time that his biological father called him by his current name and Evan felt like he knew the meaning behind it.

He was really prepared to let him go now, but... why?

Wasn't he still firm even just yesterday evening?

No matter what he was thinking, Evan Livares didn't say anything and quietly continued with his breakfast. Once he was done eating, he took the phone that Carlo gave him and retreated to his room.

The moment Evan was gone, Enea Morelli turned to Carlo and his face turned a bit darkened. "Is there any more I should know, Carlo? Can't you differentiate what to say or not?"

"Forgive me, sir. I was trying to warn the Young Master that it isn't safe for him to be with me outdoors for that long. I don't know that he will figure out that much."

"He is not a kid anymore," the Don sternly said. "You better be careful with your words from now on."
