Pink Dress For Valentine's Day Party

Max took Jade's hand as they walked through the forest. Jade refuses to let Max take her at his vampire pace because she wants to enjoy the moment with him.

"Is your house still far away?" Jade asked.

"No. You'll see it in a minute. Anyway, sisters painted my house pink," Max explained.

Jade chuckled in disbelief. But she heard it as something funny and adorable. "Why? Don't tell me it's just for Valentine's Day."

"It is. It's because of Valentine's Day. The three girls at my house are very excited about the big celebration. They will always paint the walls of our house according to the events," explained Max.

"That's cute. Who are all of them? I mean, who do you live with? Your family."

"Well, the three girls I'm referring to are my sisters. Their names are Mara, Melva, and Maurin," he informed her. "Besides them, let time tell you," he continued with a smile.

Jade was curious how they all became vampires. But she saved her curiosity for the day to come. For now, that was enough and she just wanted to know about Max.

But before Jade could ask any further, she had already seen Max's house. Max hadn't lied about the color of his house at all. She smiled and saw how quiet it was to the right and left of Max's house. But a moment later she knew, maybe because of their identity that they chose a house far from the neighbors.

"Looks like they've been waiting for you," Max said.

"How do you know?" Jade asked.

"Every vampire has talent, Jade. I can read their minds," Max informed her.

One more thing she knew on Valentine's Day, her boyfriend has a talent for reading minds. She cursed herself that Max could read her mind too.

Slowly, Max led her inside. He didn't let go of Jade's hand though. Then they stepped inside and that's where Jade's eyes met some of Max's family who all had the same skin color. White and pale.

Jade's heart was beating hard and then a man's laughter filled the silence.

"Hello, Jade ... Are you nervous? I can hear your heartbeat so loud," said a black-haired man.

Jade looked straight at Max and then she nodded that Jade had nothing to fear.

"I'm Ace. Nice to meet you," he introduced himself.

Then followed by Max's three younger sisters, then Robbin, and Wenny and Darius, Max's parents.

"Hi everyone," Jade greeted with a smile that looked stiff.

"Well, happy Valentine's Day, Jade!" Melwa said to her.

"Thank you, Melwa. Happy Valentine's Day to all of you too."

Jade then sat down on the sofa to join the others. She could imagine that she was indeed among the vampires where she was the only human being.

"Well, did Max succeed in confessing his feelings to you?" Wenny asked her. The woman, who claims to be Max's mother, doesn't look that old. She is beautiful and so friendly. Not once did she leave her dazzling smile.

"Hmm, he did."

"And you're not afraid of vampires when your dad was a vampire hunter?" Mara asked, alluding to it.

"Errr ... Sorry, I had no idea my dad was a vampire hunter. I didn't even know about it until Max told me," Jade explained.

Max looked at Mara with a sharp look. She then rolled her eyes in annoyance. Her hands were folded across her chest as she stared at Jade without blinking.

"And I'm not afraid of vampires," Jade informed them.

"Wow! Interesting! So, may I suck your blood, Jade?" Ace asked, teasing him.

"Go ahead, if Max allows you," said Jade with a laugh.

Max shook his head and quickly threw the sofa cushion at Ace. Of course, Ace caught it nimbly and laughed so hard because of the jealousy of his brother.

She opened her wardrobe. Fumbled every hanger that hung her dresses in a row. Her hands were on her hips as she looked at which dress would suit her tonight.

"That pink looks cute on you," said Max who suddenly spoke, surprising Jade.

Jade jumped and she turned around. She still wasn't used to the way Max was sneaking in.

Max smiled at her with his hands in his pockets.

"Good evening, my lovely valentine," said Max.

Jade immediately hugged him and kissed him aggressively. The kiss that felt hot was forced by Max to stop because if he didn't, it would endanger Jade in the future.

"So pink suits me?" Jade asked.

"Yeah. Wear that color to match today's event, Jade. Apart from the party, I want your Valentine to look more complete in that pink dress," Max explained.

Jade grabbed the dress and looked at herself in the mirror. "Looks interesting. By the way, I'm rarely seen in this color," said Jade.

"Well then, I'm the first vampire to ever see you wearing that color."

Jade smiled and she changed into the toilet. Then soon she came out and showed the results of her boyfriend's choice.

"How do I look?"

Max immediately stood up straight. He looked his girlfriend up and down without blinking. "You look ... Gorgeous."

Her cheeks flushed and she felt embarrassed. She then put on a little makeup and put on her high heels and also put on her party bag.

"Oh, Max ... This is too girly."

"But beautiful. You're always beautiful in any outfit. The difference is, you're much sexier."

Again Max managed to make her blush. He smiled at her. "Well, I have to get out of the house and see Zack. Otherwise, he might get suspicious."

"What about me pretending to pick you up?"

"Huh? Are you serious?" Jade asked.

Max just smiled, then he came down from the window, and before long, the bell rang.

"Oh, my God! He's kidding!" Jade exclaimed in disbelief, she immediately left the room.

Unfortunately, before she got downstairs, Zack had even opened the door for Max. They were seen talking and Zack immediately saw his daughter coming down from the upstairs of her room.

"Jade, you didn't say you were going to be picked up by ... Your boyfriend?" Zack said, looking stiff. "By the way, you look different with that pink color. I mean, you're pretty," added him.

"It happened all of a sudden. I hope you don't mind it, Dad. And thank you for your compliment. This is his choice," replied Jade with a bigger smile.

Zack just nodded with a stiff look. "So ... Max, you are going to Valentine's Day party with my daughter. Which is my daughter who asked you first. Well ... Good luck," said Zack, sounding stiffer and Max smiled with his words.

"Bye, Dad!" Jade said.

"Bye, Zack. Nice to know and meet you," Max said with a smile and Zack just nodded his head.

Zack opened the car door for Jade and then he followed inside. He smiled at her with satisfaction.

"Don't challenge the vampires, sweetheart. Of course, I'm going to see my girlfriend's father," he said and drove his car out of Jade's house.
