The Secret That Should Be Keep

Jade looked at Zack seriously. The two of them were at the dinner table where Jade already had a notepad and a pen in front of her. She had also sat down as humanly as possible so as not to make her father suspect anything of her.

Zack chuckled and waited for his daughter to start first. At least, he was grateful that in the end, his daughter was willing to talk to him on a condition that she would now say.

"First, I need your promise," Jade told him.

"Okay, I promise."

Then Jade began to write down the words to be delivered on the notepad. However, she didn't want to take the risk with Max listening to them. Even though she knew that Max would come, she still wouldn't run the risk of destroying her.

Zack watched his daughter with one eyebrow raised who was writing something. He thought Jade was cute. It was like going back to her daughter's childhood to keep a secret.
