Her One And The Only Enemy Was Gone

Before Max could answer, Carla was already screaming in pain. Jade couldn't hold back her friend's screams on her birthday. She couldn't hear any longer until she finally appeared and Max was shocked.

"Jade?" Max asked.

"Well, well, well ... The princess is starting to dare to show her face. How are you, Your Highness?" asked Sherly, mocking her.

Jade was just silent, thinking that all this time Sherly had been around her and monitored her life when Shane was by her side.

But Jade had no intention of retaliating either. Instead, she held Carla's body, which was shaking with pain. She held it as hard as she could and couldn't bear to see Carla's pale face.

"Tell me what the cure is," Jade said.

Sherly chuckled by crossing her arms across her chest. She smiled lopsidedly as she looked at Max who was shaking his head at her.

"But there's a condition, Jade. And I'm not sure you can agree to that," Sherly said sarcastically.
