Jade is the daughter of Zack, the vampire hunter. Starts as just a human and turns into a half-vampire after meeting Maximillian, her boyfriend, a vampire too. He saves Jade from the vampire poison but only half of her can be saved. That's why Jade became a half-vampire.

Then Jade meets Shane, the alpha werewolf, who claims that she is his mate. Falling in love with her and always being there for her until Shane's existence manages to make Max's position threatened.

Falling In Love With Vampire

And until the next day, Max didn't come back to Jade's house. Even in the morning Max or Shane didn't come as usual to pick him up. Jade felt like she was living her day as a human, without her vampire lover and werewolves around her.

Jade didn't talk much to Zack either. The old man understood how his daughter was feeling, and not once did he ask a question about Zack or Shane.

"I'm leaving," said Jade, after finishing breakfast.

"You don't want me to drop you off?" Zack asked offering.

"No, Dad. Looks like after college I'm going to Kesha's apartment."

"Well, okay. Take care of yourself then."

Jade tried to smile even though it was thin by nodding his head. He then left the house by driving his car.

As his hands gripped the steering wheel, he felt something different and foreign. All because he was used to sitting on the side of the wheel, not behind the wheel. He was used to having Max driving, or Shane.
