"Are you avoiding me too?" asked Shane who appeared in front of him as Jade entered the campus hallway.
Jade stopped as he stopped her. He sighed and remembered last night. It wasn't Shane he was avoiding, but Hans. And not because of the greatness of Hans, but he didn't like Hans who seemed to act as he pleased with him.
"I'm not avoiding you. Last night I really wanted to be alone. I didn't think that Hans was the type who had more confidence than anyone. He acted as he pleased without thinking about other people's feelings," Jade explained.
Step by step Shane advanced. He grabbed Jade's shoulders and breathed a sigh of relief knowing Jade was finally not avoiding him.
"You have the right not to see him. I'm not going to ask you to see him again either. Twice is enough."
"I'm not afraid of him, Shane. I just don't like the character. Even dying in his hands I have no fear at all," said Jade.
