Even though he knew that Jade wasn't at his house, he still came to make sure. Sometimes, he himself doesn't trust his instincts even though all the instincts he has are always right in the end.

And he was standing in front of Jade's empty house. Looks quiet with the lights off, except for the terrace.

Shane sighed. He knew that his mate was at his lover's place and without realizing it, he forgot about it.

It is a painful thing if a loved one forgets us because the presence of another person who dominates fills his time.
