There was a laugh that was different from Virly's voice. An unusual laugh, but it sounded so bitter. Of course, it caught Jade's attention as well as Shane and Hans who heard it. Shane himself tried to get into her mind and try to read her.

"Why are you laughing? Does that sound weird?" Jade asked with one eyebrow raised.

Virly slapped her hands in the air in front of their faces. Then her laughter stopped as she cleared her throat. "Your question ... ah, I'm not sure whether to say it or not. But why are you asking me that, anyway?"

Virly cleared her throat again. She looked right and left and then her body moved forward a little. "I don't know if I was dreaming or really seeing, but I saw ... I saw Hans turning into a wolf," she whispered.
