He brought her to his house and she couldn't recover from the shock

Even he was shocked by what he did. Little more shocked than the time, when his hand landed on her head, patting her. But, one thing was certain, his body was moving against his will, which gave answers to all his questions.

It's her. She has to be the one. His body can never betray him unless it's her. But, he can't jump to conclusions. He has to find it out first. He has to confirm it first.

Yuvika was shocked too, but for god knows why, she found his embrace comforting, warm and cozy. As if it's the place she has been searching for her whole life. Her safe haven. Her home. The girl who was struggling with her emotions and tears earlier was now resting her head on her boss' chest, her eyes closed, her mind calm, her heart beating a little faster than usual.

She wasn't feeling anything. It was like he was blocking all those memories, all those feelings, all those emotions of her. Denying them the entrance. She was feeling peace and bliss at the moment. If her mind would have been in a working mode, then she would have known what she was doing and how wrong it was.

But at this moment, her mind had gone on a break. All that she wanted was the time to stop. So that she could stay like that, a little longer.

~~

Since he wasn't sure of her condition, he didn't leave her. But then his phone, which was ringing for the last ten minutes continuously was suggesting otherwise. Yuvika, who had been lost in his warmth, finally heard the disturbing noise of the phone ringing.

She finally let go of him. Only to find him staring at her, worry laced in his eyes. After all, what would you have done, if suddenly a person started feeling sad, depressed, on the verge of crying but trying his/her best to hold themselves together, just because he/she doesn't want to embarrass him/ herself in front of you?

He was a businessman. He is more apt to deal with projects, proposals, his subordinates, his people. But he definitely has no idea how to deal with a person who is your equal. What to do to make that person feel safe, secure, and loved? He definitely has no answer.

Whenever his mother gets upset, this is what he would do to cheer her up. Hug her tightly and let her vent all her emotions either by punching him lightly or crying or by rumbling everything that's in her head. But again the girl in front of him shocked him, she didn't do anything like that, but she didn't reject his embrace either.

'Are you alright now, Miss Chauhan?' He asked, still concerned, making her eyes widen in shock and embarrassment.

Making him feel like he has updated a new software on his mobile to make it better but now he isn't able to understand it any longer. He just asked her a question, does she really have to give that bewildered reaction.

Ah! Now he was regretting the fact that she isn't his subordinate to whom he can order around. Well, practically she is, but technically now she is more than that. Not to mention, he definitely can't guess what's going on in her mind. Since he isn't a mind reader.

'B-Boss, your phone.' She finally uttered, wondering how the guy can be so calm, unbothered when the phone was literally blaring her eardrums.

He frowned but then he turned in the direction where her eyes were and finally his unlucky phone got his attention again. He picked it up without even glancing at the caller id.

'Hey! How dare you get married in my absence?' A sharp, chilly female voice roared on the other side.

' I am busy at present. I will call you back later.' Ashutosh replied calmly and before the other side could say anything, he disconnected the call. His eyes fixed on hers, still wondering whether she is alright or not.

But as if the caller wasn't planning to leave Ashutosh alone, again the phone rang. Ashutosh simply disconnects the call and then puts the phone into 'Do not disturb mode.

'Is everything okay?' Yuvika asked, looking at his pissed face.

'Hmm.' He nodded, not bothering to tell her, just how big of trouble he had signed himself in, by ignoring the caller and even hanging her call up.

'If you are alright, then shall we continue our journey?' Ashutosh asked, looking more serious than before. She nodded. He ignites the engine and soon the roads start to pass in front of them.

After a ten-minute long drive, they were in front of huge golden silver-colored gates, which carry only three words 'Raj'. The door opened, the car entered and Yuvika saw a beautifully constructed road, with a garden on both sides, the trees planted near to the roads on both sides.

When the car sped up, she also saw many cute animals, lakes, fountains, birds, grassy land, flower land, and so on. But what she saw from right and left wasn't even 1% of the view to what she saw when the car reached a certain place.

A mansion. Just like the Royal Castles of Disneyland.

She felt her mouth might drop at any possible moment from the sight in front of her. The mansion was just like what every person dreams their dreamhouse to be. But no matter how much they work, they end up settling for a simple house in the end.

The grand, beautifully designed staircase was leading to the main entrance, where the car stopped. Soon a person came, saluted Ashutosh, then opened the door for Yuvika and Ashutosh. After which, the very same person took care of the car, maybe 'The chauffeur'.

Damn, even the stairs were made of white tiles, which were so shiny and clean, that they were more or less acting as a mirror.

When they reached the main entrance, she saw two wooden doors, which were actually giving the mild, calming fragrance, carved with splendid designs.

The moment she entered, she saw the army of servants waiting with their heads bowed. She wondered whether it is even possible to hire so many people, but when she saw the place, she realized it doesn't seem so outrageous to hire 80-90 people just to take care of this place.

She could see the end of the shiny chandelier but doesn't know from where its origins were. She could make out two to three floors above her, but she could tell there would be more than that.

If anyone thinks The Raj's housing colonies are the best. Then, she could tell that they wouldn't even make a little matchbox in front of this place. Daeng, she thought, her penthouse is the most wonderful, luxurious thing of her life. But only now does she realize how limited her thinking was.

'Do you like it?'She heard the voice and snapped at the source. Her Boss.

Ashutosh was waiting patiently for her to see this new place, but when she seemed to fall in a daze, and he ran out of patience, he asked her. This was the first time he was bringing someone here. To be precise, any human in his humble abode.

So, he was nervous, although just a little bit, but nervous nevertheless.

'Yes. It's spectacular. I don't think I would ever find a word to describe this wonder.' She replied, praising genuinely. She had never seen something like this before and she can bet, she will never be able to see something like this again.

' But why are we here? Is this a resort or a 7-star hotel? Are we planning to add it to The Raj's Collection?' She asked while being genuinely curious and excited to work whole-heartedly on this project.

This place is simply heaven. So damn beautiful. So wonderful. So spectacular.

'Ahem... Ahem... We are not doing any of the things mentioned by you. This is.. is.. my home. I mean, our home, now. I told you, once we are done dealing with that matter, I will show you around.

You can choose any room you would like to stay in. Also choose any assistant, any aid you would like to be around. The rest, they will take good care of you.'He explained slowly and patiently, while she felt someone pour cold water all over her, freezing her on the spot.

This is..is.. a home. A home, for god sake. How could home be like this? That's practically impossible.

'Miss Chauhan!'He nudged her, after seeing her lost expression. Didn't he explain her clearly enough?

'Y-You live here, Boss. Really. Is it some kind of joke, prank, or something?' She asked incredulously. Nah, she doesn't want to imagine what he just said. Not even in her wildest dream.

' Why can't I live here?' He asked in confusion.

' Because this is not a home. Not even far away from the typical definition of home. How could someone live in such a big Disneyland Castle and say it's his home. That's too outrageous, alright!' She blurted out, her pitch getting higher and higher, with every word.
