"Chaos is the very foundation of this universe... But I guess that alone is not enough for you to understand, so I will elaborate further. It is said that a being of chaos founded our world and universe, and as such, they entrusted four species with chaotic natures to guide the world in the way it's intended to go," the deep voice of a relatively old man hummed in a dimly lit room, his hand gently resting on the pink hair of a young Corniellia, "Those species are humans, witches, vampires and werewolves, and though they are all quite similar, they are very different in several ways."
"If we're different, why does everyone look the same?" young Corniellia asked, looking up into her father's eyes, awaiting a response.
"That's a good question young flower," he chuckled, "Okay, so there is a trait in each that others just don't have. Vampires and Werewolves survive on something by the name of Black Blood Cells. In us vampires, these cells will protect us but they'll feast on our red blood cells. To make up for the weakness, however, it gives us the ability to tap into the power of chaos, giving us vampires a special ability of any nature out there, like your blink ability, that is a very useful speed natured ability of chaos."
He smiled down at her lightly, gently stroking her hair as he stared up at the ceiling.
"So if both werewolves and vampires have these cells... Why are we different?"
"That's because while the cells work perfectly in us, it's very unstable in them, this is because somewhere along their evolution, there was an adaption of wolf-like DNA in them. So, rather than the cells working with the chaos, the chaos exists in them for the sole reason of keeping these cells stable. Because of this, normally, they can't make use of the chaos inside of them... But there are some rare cases where that's not the case."
"What about the humans though?" Corniellia asked, wriggling her way out her father's arm to place herself before him, her legs folded atop each other as she leant forward in interest, "What makes them so different?"
"Well you see, my dear child, humans and witches are born with white blood cells. All this does is keep their bodies safe without feasting on their blood or anything like that, however these cells, rather than seeing the chaos in their body as useful... It suppresses it, This is why humans can't use chaos in any way, shape or form. Witches however are humans who don't have that restriction. They can use chaos as much as they want within the nature of chaos they were born with, but it is very taxing on their body, so they tend to only use it when they have to."
"So if a vampire became a human... Would they be a witch instead?"
Her father burst out in laughter at her statement, his hand gently caressing her chin as she pulled her head up so that she'd look him in the eye.
"Corniellia, my darling. we can't become humans. Our cells simply overpower theirs, so if they were to mix, the black blood cells would prevail every time. That's why humans can become vampires, but never the other way around."

"What do you mean the nature is changing? That can't happen," Ai asked, completely dumbfounded.
"I know that, but I don't know how else to describe it," Moe responded, just as puzzled as Ai was.
"Ah yes, this is where the fun begins," Sebastian snickered with his arms widely extended.
Just as he did so, all instances of Corniellia disappeared, leaving only one the moment Corniellia left the other end of her blink ability, however, her movement upon leaving the state was drastically slowed down, thus allowing for Sebastian to get an easy hit off her, extending his left leg to where her torso would be just to release a kick at near full force. This action sent Corniellia flying in the direction of the nearby wall, however, she didn't come in direct contact with it.
"What the hell?" she asked, looking down at her arms, confused as to what just happened.
"Come on, don't tell me that's all you've got," Sebastian teased as he slowly walked toward her.
Getting up from her defeated state, Corniellia took a deep breath, ready to attempt the same thing one more time, convinced it was a mere fluke in her abilities. She blinked once more, ready to tackle Sebastian head-on, however, she didn't go nearly as far as she intended to go. Rather than appearing behind Sebastian, she exited her blink directly before him.
"Peekaboo," Sebastian said with a smile, extending his hand to grab a hold of her neck and lift her off the ground.
She struggled in his grip for a bit, her hands gripping at his, trying her utmost best to pry it open. She punched and kicked at him, scratched and reached at him, attempting to use any method she could to get him to release her before tears started to flow from her eyes, not from his grip, but from the sheer amount of disappointment she felt toward herself.
"How could I lose to you?" she muttered, as the tears streaked down her cheek, "When did you get so strong?... No, when did I get so weak? I can't even use my power right anymore..."
"Oh, boohoo," Sebastian said, releasing her from his grip, "It's just a sparring match, it really isn't all that serious."
He sighed as he looked down at her as she lay on the floor. He shook his head and placed his hands in his pockets as he walked away.
"The match is over!" he yelled, staring directly at the higher-ups, "I suggest you hurry up and reach whatever decision you needed me to fight to make."
He turned away once more, and slowly walked toward the exit.
"Goddamnit, how'd you manage to get beat up by a weakling like that?" he muttered to himself, expecting an answer, however, he didn't get any, thus evoking a mere sigh, "I'll give you back your body when we get to the room... I'm tired."
"What... Just happened?" That was the thought that plagued a majority of the spectators. Their confused gazes travelled from a defeated Corniellia sprawled on the floor to Sebastian who was now making his way to the exit almost unscathed.
"She definitely blinked into his hand right?... We all saw that right?" a crowd member asked, trying to make sense of everything that has just taken place.
"To think after such a build-up that she'd lose to him on purpose," Lucas scoffed, "And then you have the audacity to cry about it?!"
His anger was very much visible as he wore a scowl and tightly gripped onto his own arms as if suppressing the urge to pick a fight.
"I wouldn't be so sure about that..." Cedric muttered, a hand on Lucas' shoulder to calm him down, "Whether or not it was on purpose... There's something interesting about that boy despite his vampiric situation... I think it's best I keep an eye on him from this point on, don't you?"
"Why waste your efforts on him? I can just bully him like we agreed and call it a day."
"Yes, yes child you'll still get your moments... I just have my own investigations to do as well."
