Skysin Rillem-
While the day was still early, the sun steadily rose behind the sea of trees and vast range of mountains in the distance. Melluna played with Tenko, and dad took a seat on the chair by the door. Watching mom beginning to instruct me on how to control this foundation of malevolent power.
Both me and mom positioned ourselves further out in the wide acres of our green yard. Mom shrouded herself in dense, nebulous aura, unable to see her at all. Then I felt a surge of menacing energy, emitting nothing but a substantial amount of unnerving tension.
Mom's figure had reappeared from this blackened aura, not able to find any traceable feature from her original from. Dad whistled from her appearance, "haven't seen that form in years."
Mom released a light chuckle, then her black eyes shifted onto me, "ok Sin. I need you to dig deep into your darkest thoughts." She instructed.
It still baffled me of course, that mom was from an entirely different planet. Nephelium. I could only ponder as to what the world was like. Plus, she's a princess too now that I think about it. Was the world filled with savage like beings? Or could it be something similar to ours.
Although this really peaked my interests, I decided to place that thought in the back of my head for now and focus on increasing my vital. I closed my eyelids and began thinking back to everything that's occurred in my life so far.
Aunt Taekhyu's passing… her pleasant smile, selfless and caring personality. She was supposed to live, stay with us, be with Tenko… But wasn't able too, all because of a particular person. Nitanz.
The time I almost lost Cleo and Devail when I had first met them. Even if it was a bizarre meeting, nevertheless, I'm happy that I was able to come across the two. Especially Cleo, I couldn't imagine losing her, or any of my friends.
Then the incident with Nirvana, it was an extremely close call. I thought she was going to pass away. I know I could've done something better. But my anger had reached its boiling point from that boy impaling her. Which, it got the best of me. I was standing on a thin line, I could've beaten him to death if it wasn't for the others, or that peculiar boy. Still, I had to make him pay somehow… he retreated from his own cause; Nirvana was at the brink of death, and it pained me to see her in such a state.
Recalling everything, I felt a sudden rush of power swell inside my being, like a hurricane gradually building winds. This sinister presence began to form around my body and developed into that ominous black aura, same as mom's. It started to take shape, dancing chaotically like frantic blazes from a forest fire.
"Good…now try to control all the aura around you Sin. Keep it steady. As if you're trying to train a wild animal." Mom advised keeping an eye on me.
When I attempted to do so, it preserved its uncontrollable state. Roaring with intensity, ongoing with its blistering inferno. My face, arms, and chest, started to produce a good amount of sweat. Including an abundance of aggravation, trying to endeavor these blackened flames that danced around my entire body with masses of animosity.
However, aunt Taekhyu's training clicked in my brain once more. But this time, I'll have to alter the process a bit. I closed my eyes again and envisioned a void filled with black. I attempted to decrease the darkness's size. While I did so, I could see its shape stagger. As sweat trailed down my face, I increased my concentration. So, its size began to reduce, although it was only gradually getting smaller.
As time swam by, when the void of darkness had dwindled down, I was finally able to make a small black sphere, like a miniature blackhole. Only surrounded with whiteness. Then, instead of making its size grow once more, I kept the ball steady. Not allowing it to increase or decrease. I slowly lifted my eyelids, and came to see my black aura, flowing steadily around my body.
"Great job Sin. Now that your able to take hold of your vital, we'll have to work on unlocking your Fiendevor form. This'll certainly be a process though." Mom sighed pressing her fingers against her forehead.
"How long will it take?" I warily asked. Mom crossed her arms and tapped her foot on the ground. "It could probably take a year at best…"-She turned to Melluna playing- "Only reason is - there's not enough Fiendevor vital around here. The few that does exist is mine, Devail's, and Melluna. But she hasn't unlocked her powers yet." Mom stated tensely.
"What about the gem that your friend Naltaer had gave Uncle Khufu for Devail?" I questioned.
Mom shook her head in doubt, "all that power is long gone, it was enough for Devail to unlock hers. But all of it was absorbed in the process."- Mom placed a finger on her chin- "However… I could get a lifeless gem, so you can use Devail's and my vital to help aid you. Also, for when you return back to school so you can still focus on trying to control your power." Mom cheerfully added.
"Where are lifeless gems even located?" I queried.
Mom smiled and pointed at the giant chain of mountains far in the background behind the vast woodland of trees.
Dad walked to us and inspected the mountains. "Mm… Etz-Clare mountains is filled with beasts and creatures known as the depraved."
I looked at dad with a puzzled expression, "like evil people?"
"Not exactly… there's beast that roam in caves of Etz-clare. They have necromancy kinetics, so they can control deceased challengers and soldiers. Corrupting the minds of the dead, turning them into wicked monsters." Mom explained.
This could be a new place I could explore, what type of beasts are there? Plus, what does the depraved look like?
I raised my hand, "I'll go." I declared.
"No, you are not… you're not allowed to venture there by any circumstances. It's too dangerous." Mom quickly denied eyeing me.
"But why not?" I asked eagerly. It shouldn't be that much of a problem. I've grown much stronger over the years as well.
"No."-Mom waved her hand denying my argument- "I'll go by myself. There's no need for you to be harmed. It won't take long; I'll be back by the end of the day."
As much as I wanted to oppose, I knew that was her final answer. Anymore, she would've done something worse, "ok…" I sighed surrendering to my mother.
"Are you sure Val? I can go for you." Dad proposed worriedly. Mom returned to her natural look and walked to dad, "it's fine honey. Thank you…" She wrapped her arms around dads' neck and pulled him down as she stood on the tip of her toes, kissing his cheek.
"Hehehe, mommy's short." Melluna chuckled approaching the couple with Tenko. Mom made a sour face and got onto her knees facing Melluna. "Mommy's not short sweetie… I'm just petite." Mom said matter-of-fact rubbing Lunas's head.
Melluna rubbed her fingers on her chin, "hmmm…"-She shot her hands in the air with a chuckle- "Short!"
Mom drooped her head miserably. "It's ok mommy…"-Luna patted her head- "Melluna still loves you." She said with a merry smile on her face.
Mom quickly lifted Luna with a hug rubbing her cheek against hers, "aweee, you're just so cyutee. Thank Malerenz you're not like you father."
It seemed as if dad turned to stone as he made a pitiful smile pointing at himself, "I'm... still right here…"
Shortly after, mom incased herself in a purple hue, and teleported back in the house. Meanwhile, the rest of us stood outside. But what mom said lingered in my head. Am I still this weak? I figured I had grown a lot more over the past years.
A large hand had set on my shoulders. "Don't think too much about it Sin."-Dad smiled- "She's doing this for your own good. Val just wants to take it upon herself for you. Remember Sin, you aren't alone. We're all here for you."
Noting his words, I nodded. Still though, I don't blame mom at all… she had her own reasons for doing what she did, and I respect that.
Next, mom appeared before us, in an entirely different apparel. Her pineapple hair was tied in a ponytail that fell to the center of her back. Wearing a black hooded cloak that draped to her waist, and a red short skirt that ended near the middle of her thighs, covered with tights. On her legs, she sported fine-golden chausses. Including gauntlets of the same color.
Her lavender eyes adjusted to us, possessing a relaxed smile on her face. "Alright, I'll be back later this afternoon."-She glared terrifyingly at me, dad, and Tenko- "Don't destroy the house."
We all saluted to her, fearing the same thing…death.
Mom lifted Luna and gave her a kiss on the forehead, "make sure these three don't do anything stupid while mommy's gone, ok Luna?"
"Ok Mommy."
With that, mom sat her down and gazed at the range of mountains, looking as if they were sitting on the edge of the planet. She closed her eyes and small, gleaming orbs appeared. All flickering like tiny fireflies. These small spheres began to faze through moms' body, and she started to luminesce a faint light.
When her eyes opened… she just stood there? I was muddled by this, I figured she'd at least disappear. 'Why's she just standing there?' Tenko pondered.
'I don't know?' I replied to Tenko in my thoughts. "Hey dad, why's mom just standing still?" I asked the tall man.
"Why don't you go find out." Dad jested.
Taking in what he said, I slowly advanced to mom, and lifted my arm. I extended a finger and attempted to prod her arm. But instead, it fazed through her.
"What the- "Hahaha, Val's already gone Sin." Dad chuckled. "She absorbed photons, light energy. And well you know - moved faster than the speed of light."
"But she didn't do that last time when you guys' spar dad."
Dad chortled ruffling my head, "hahaha, as I stated kiddo, we were never fighting at full strength. We could endanger the planet if we did. It's all about control."
That's when I had a thought, "wait dad, so if you and mom are a threat to the planet in your normal state. How strong are you in your amalgamation form?"
Dads' lips curved down and lifted a brow as he scratched his short beard, "well even though I was a little kid at the time, your grandfather Jagan could freeze flames from the sun. And I'm still weaker than him sadly. But more than likely, a few planets maybe?" Dad claimed questioning his own strength.
I was truly amazed by his statement, wielding the power to overtake not just one, but multiple worlds. "Why didn't you become a king or an emperor dad?" I asked excitedly.
"Ehh-way too much responsibility for a guy like me."-He waved it off- "That's why I decided to just become a general. Even though your mom was the one who pushed it onto me." Dad chuckled anxiously.
"Well now that you say that… it does seem like a lot."
Dad lifted Luna and sat her on his shoulders, "Exactly, way too much responsibility, I'd rather just live a leisureful life. Without the worry of trying to take care of other planets."
While we sauntered back to the house, "let's get some food kids." Dad added.
I looked up to him, "are we going to the city?"
Dad shook his head, "nope."-He pointed at the woods- "We're going to hunt. It's about time I show you how to get your own food without money." He energetically stated. "We'll get some food and cook for Val while she's out, so she won't have to worry about it when she returns."
"Right!"
From that point, we all prepared ourselves and traversed into the woods, searching for something good to eat.
