Greyson Aire-
I feigned interest walking among 'acquaintances', who were occupied conversing with each other. The school bell had rung maybe a few minutes ago, informing everyone who attended Lapis Academy that classes will begin soon.
The entire campus is always bustling with kids, all gossiping about any topics that could be happening out, or in school grounds. But the place is very luxurious as well, since Pharaoh Khufu of planet Gremis is supporting them, including other nobles whose children attend here. Along with my mother, Jasteen Aire; queen of the second planet Aries.
The school is placed atop a large hill, able to view Luxor City below, which is known as 'Basem Prominence' from my knowledge. Apparently, a deity apart of the Basem clan had created this school for children hundreds of years ago. This place flourished with large buildings and coatings of gold on their corners. The vast walkways are constructed out of white bricks, pristinely set in diagonal herringbone. In the very center of the campus, an obelisk. Commemorating the deity named, 'Ra', who supposedly died from an unknown cause till this very day.
However, from what my mother stated, all the four deities who reigned over these planets, simply disappeared. As if they had never existed.
Still sauntering with these acquaintances of mine, I came across a building that had a window placed in front of me. But I have to say, I didn't expect that luscious Goddess Malerenz to reincarnate me inside such a handsome face. Short spikey grey hair that fell over my eyebrows, lime-green eyes that easily described the meaning of striking. For my attire, a red tie tucked under my black blazer, slim trousers, along with a golden 'L' emblem pinned to my chest. On my finger, I beard a single diamond ring, meaning that I'm second rank among freshmen.
I did live in another world before this, known as 'Arthe'. Obviously, it must be located somewhere extremely far from here, plus its technology exceeds these planets immensely, flying cars already proves that. I'm genuinely surprised I have a new life, especially after what transpired. Murdering someone dear to me with a hyper bullet.
Albeit, I don't have a problem with this place in the slightest. It's truly wonderous, plus, even if we don't utilize magic like those t.v shows. Vital is fairly similar to mana anyway.
"Hey Greyson? Have you heard the news about what occurred at Series academy recently?" A boy with brown eyes and red hair asked. Catching my undivided attention, "no, Draken, I haven't…what happened?" I responded.
A girl with blue eyes and black hair, named Gina, spoke, "really?? It's been spreading like crazy! Apparently, Nirvana Hyuseff, daughter of the duke on planet Valorrey, Tenwrey Hyuseff, was impaled by another noble. I believe he's the son of the Gaeratt family." She explained in curiosity.
I've heard of her; people chatter about how pretty she is. Some even call Nirvana a fairy, or princess from her looks alone.
"But that's not it either, they say the child of the hero, General Rellgis, had nearly beaten the noble to death. He's still in the medical center as we speak!" Draken added with a shocked tone.
I know about Rellgis; offspring of the kitsune deity. Including his ravishing wife Valentine as well. "Who is his child?" I mused.
I never heard of them having a child before, this surely is new to me.
"Huhh?! Basically everyone had at least seen him from pictures others drawn when they witnessed them walking amongst others." Gina exclaimed.
"You make it seem like you fancy him…" Draken stated flatly making a dull expression.
"Oh-My-Malerenz! Of course I do! He's just soo dreamy… he has to be the best-looking boy in all the planets." Gina clasped her hands together, creating an expression of fascination as her blue eyes gleamed with awe.
Draken clicked his tongue, "tch, I doubt it…" He increased his pace, his head seemed to release something like fumes. While Gina chortled from his reaction, my eyes caught sight of a heavenly girl walking past us. Who seemed a bit troubled?
'It's Princess Cleonatra…" I told myself, goggling the beautiful girl. Glistening pearlish, pink hair that swept across her back like peaceful ripples of water. Lush golden-honey skin, that glossed gorgeously from the sun's rays. Those alluring, crimson eyes that could even pierce a god's heart. Kissable pink lips with a singular mole on the bottom left under, which only augmented her goddess-like beauty. That red pinafore uniform complementing her developing body as well.
I couldn't help but come to a steady halt, gazing at true beauty. I can only imagine how Cleonatra will be when she turns sixteen. 'I must talk to her…' I concluded in my thoughts. "I'm sorry, but I have to get something." I quickly told Gina turning around to pursue Cleonatra.
While I increased my stride, a sudden thought came across my mind. 'Now that I think about it… I died on Arthe when I turned seventeen. Plus, with these twelve years I lived in my new life; chronologically, I should be twenty-nine years old. I'm only a few years younger than my mother basically. However, my body is that of a child. I just won't divulge this information to her. Or try anything sensual until she's older.' I figured in my head.
Drawing near beautiful Cleonatra, I friendly waved, "h-hello Princess Cleonatra."
"…"
Despite my effort, she paid no mind to me at all. Like she was in a trance. Keeping a fretful face, Cleonatra sustained her walk of haste. Still, I won't give up.
Increasing my pace once more, just as I approached her, my footing had faltered, causing me to trip right by her. When I collided with the brick ground, in a flash, Cleonatra made a long sword appear in her hand, flawlessly placing the blade right on my neck.
I raised my hands apprehensively, "friendly-friendly!" I claimed nervously waving them back-and-forth.
"Oh my - I do apologize, it's a reflex…" Cleonatra made her weapon vanish in thin air like evaporation, and extended her soft hand to me. After she assisted me, I wiped some dust off my blazer. "Is there something you need?" Cleonatra asked, her voice; that of an angelic melody.
I could feel my face mantle in rose looking at such divine beauty, but I swiftly fixed myself. "Mm-mm…I just figured I'd introduce myself since we so happen to be children of rulers. I'm Greyson Aire," I extended my arm for a handshake.
Cleonatra lifted a brow in doubt, as if she could see through my intentions like a glass window. Yet, she followed suit and shook my hand, "I see… I'm Cleonatra Fertaina-Gremis."
After she introduced herself, a group of students walked past us. "Did you hear about Series Academy?"
"Yes, I did. Nirvana Hyuseff was stabbed by a noble, and he was almost beaten to death by Skysin Rillem; General Rellgis Rillem's son."
Cleonatra clicked her tongue in aggravation, overhearing their conversation. Figuring she must know one of them from her reaction, "are you acquainted with anyone that was apart of what happened?" I asked.
"Yes… I'm close friends with Nirvana and Skysin." She answered, her tone still set in agitation.
I noted this, 'interesting, hopefully they don't get in my way trying to pursue her.' I thought to myself. "Is… this Skysin boy a violent person?" I pondered.
"No." Cleo shook her head, shooting my question down instantly. "He isn't a that type of person. The boy from that stupid noble 'Rat' family almost murdered my friend Nirvana."
"I see…" I said, discovering about the General having a child is quite a surprise for me. Regardless, I should've known this by now. "If you don't mind me asking…what is Skysin like?"
Sadly, Cleonatra's pretty face was flourishing in rose. 'So…this is the esteemed boy she's interested in?' I asked myself, drowned in disappointment.
Cleonatra twirled her hair with a finger, keeping a pretty smile, "Skysin's a fun, yet chaotic person to be around. Although it can be hard to read him… his face is always poised. However, his facial features even rival the most beautiful of girls." She happily explained.
So, she really likes him. It seems as if Cleonatra's in love with this boy. All in all, I still want to grow closer with her, and possibly have something more…I just can't allow such an alluring girl like herself be single.
"Ironically, despite his frail and feminine features, which usually gives people the wrong impression. Skysin's the strongest boy I came across at my age. He's a better fighter than me." Cleo admitted in admiration.
Now I was taken aback by this information. Cleonatra's skill with swords is comparable to the first rank of swords in our school. Plus, she's first ranking of freshman for vital. Just how strong is this boy Skysin? "Interesting, seems like a cool guy from how you explained him." I responded feigning engrossment.
Cleonatra made a proud smile, puffing out her chest, "of course, Skysin is my amazing hus- "Sorry to interrupt your conversation. Hello Cleonatra." A calm, deep voice chimed.
By the biggest coincidence, the first rank of swords; senior Raul Amunet appeared before us. A tall, slim boy with honey-colored skin. Wavy brown hair that fell against his neck, possessing golden eyes and a well-defined chin. Your average ladies-man…
"Oh, hello Raul. How can I help you?" Cleo asked as she looked above to the tall boy, who had a smile on his face.
His golden eyes glanced over to me, then back to Cleo, "just wanted to say that I'll be waiting for the match anytime. Please, let me know whenever you're ready." Raul said creating a small smile.
Cleonatra nodded, "of course, I'll be sure to Raul." At that time, a golden ring on her finger began to glow a purple hue. Then, white letters appeared in thin air.
Cleonatra's face began to radiate happiness, along with love… unfortunately. "Sorry, but I must take my leave, my fiancé is waiting for me and my sister Devail." With that, she briskly walked off in excitement.
I couldn't comprehend what I just heard. Fiancé? Skysin Rillem is Cleonatra Gremis's fiancé? By the way Raul was looking at me with an amused face, it was blatantly obvious he could read how dumbfounded I was by this.
"Well then, Prince Aire – kek…"-Raul faintly chuckled covering his mouth- "Good day to you." He humbly bowed and went off to class.
Utterly stupefied, I watched Cleonatra gracefully walk away as Devail came into view. Lengthy amethyst hair tied into a low ponytail, almost like a wonderful sea of purple space. Crystalline emerald-green eyes, like glamorous gems that shined profoundly. With her being the older sister, she was growing into a prepossessing woman herself. Truly, another goddess from above.
Which only made my envy exceed beyond my limits. "Skysin Rillem - you bastard…" I muttered in jealousy, advancing to class.
