Skysin Rillem-
After dad escorted Cleo and Devail to the central building, my family and I took our carriage and returned to home. Finally entering the house, mom turned around facing us. "Sin, do you want to try amalgamation?" She asked with a smile.
"Yeah!" I enthusiastically responded.
I've been pondering to myself what I'd look like in my Fiendevor form. Although, from what mom had stated, it'll be some time until I can fully utilize my power. More than likely though, I'm positive I'd look like her. However, a sudden question came to mind, "how far in amalgamation do you think I'll get to?" I asked as we advanced through the hall.
Mom tilted her head, "that… I'm not so sure"-She tapped her cheek – "You controlled your vital extremely well surprisingly. But again, the only vital you can really use to absorb is mines, and Devail's. Melluna is too young right now, and she still has to train with her ice and spatial kinetics. Which is why I said it'll probably take at least a year to do this."
I took note of her words and nodded. A whole year isn't bad. Plus, it'll benefit me in the long run after I unlock my powers. Still, what if Nitanz attacks during this time. It'll ruin everything. "Is there a way I can control it faster?" I wondered to mom.
As she approached the back door, "no, not here unfortunately…" Mom shook her head opening the glass door and exiting to the backyard.
'Dammit,' I cursed in my thoughts. I'll just have to work hard and hopefully, just maybe… I can unlock it before anything else – something worse, transpires in this span of time.
Just as dad was preparing to take Melluna upstairs, "I wanna watch mommy." Luna somnolently murmured rubbing her eyes.
Mom chuckled, "of course honey."
So, we all entered the back yard, the others took a seat on some wooden chairs while mom and I moved further out. After we were positioned. Mom transformed into her Fiendevor form once more.
"Ok Sin, just do what you did last time. After I send you some of my vital, absorb and tame it around your body." Mom instructed.
"Right."
She lifted her hand and produced a line of blackened, flame-like aura directed to me. Just as it slowly crept towards my body, I closed my eyes and concentrated. Capable of feeling this menacing energy once more, I attempted to keep it under control, not allowing my vital to increase, or decrease, simply letting it stay equal. Yet, as her power continued to invade my own, I started to struggle. Feeling my eyebrows twitch, as sweat swept down my forehead.
"Relax, Sin… calm your mind. Don't overthink, as more power comes, just keep it steady honey." Mom's gentle, disembodied voice chimed in my head.
Like she directed, I took a deep breathe, feeling my lungs slowly build in air as my chest gradually shifted forwards. Then exhaled, steadily letting all my oxygen flow out of my mouth and nose. Pacifying myself, I furthered my concentration. Absorbing all the vital, keeping it under control.
"Now, I want you to cover your entire body in your vital, then increase it." Mom directed.
I enfolded my entire being in this vicious, dark aura. Then, in that moment, I drastically increased my vital. Like a giant ball of flames about to explode, I felt my power build substantially.
When mom had ceased sending me vital, I opened my eyes. Viewing translucent, yet dense, black aura dance around my arms in slow-motion.
"I'm genuinely surprised Sin, you were able to grow horns." Mom applauded with a smile advancing to me.
"Nice work kiddo," dad said shooting a thumbs up.
Mom waved her hand and made a square shaped mirror appear before me; its edges coated in a lavender hue. Observing myself, I came to see two black horns propped on the side of my head, curving to the back, stilly piercing the air. Just like moms.
Despite that, my violet eyes and golden hair remained the same. But this is still progress, nonetheless.
Mom rubbed my head, "great job honey. But you sure are a fast learner, hahaha."
"How do I get rid of them? I feel like I'll have trouble sleeping…" I feebly chuckled grasping my horn.
Mom tapped her temple, "oh right, how silly of me. All you have to do is decrease your energy."
I nodded then did exactly like she said, feeling some power exit from myself. However, an idea came to mind. Over these four years, dad trained me how to use my kitsune amalgamation. All I have to do is simply think about transforming and I'll be able to do so. Now, what if I somehow fused both of these godlike powers into one? Logically, I would grow exponentially, even if I can't control my Fiendevor vital just like my Kitsune, there was still a vast increase in vital, and strength. 'There's only one way to find out…' I muttered to myself.
While mom walked over to dad and Melluna. I used my amalgamation and transformed into my Kitsune form. When I performed this, everyone turned around to me with a confused expression.
'Sin, I don't think that a good idea yet,' Tenko warily said, heeding exactly what I have in mind.
I ignored him; I just have to be sure. I can't lose anyone else.
Next, I conjured my blackened Fiendevor aura, and made it coat my body. When I executed this, dad quickly sat Melluna down and expeditiously dashed to me. "W-WAIT! SIN!"
It was too late, my vital had fully sheathed me and I increased my energy. Just as I did this, I felt an excruciating pain in my heart, as if a blade was slowly slicing it in half. I came to a halt, and fell to my knees, unable to bear the pain. Both of my hands clasped my chest, and I vomited an abundance of blood onto the green grass under me. But the pain only multiplied, feeling like all my bones were brutally breaking, snapping in half.
I could feel fatigue looming through my body, and when dad and mom got to me, my vision became obscure. My stomach plunged onto dad's arms, only distinguishing Melluna's terrified cries as my eyes closed. Coming to meet darkness.
*****
I opened my eyes, meeting the dark, shaded blue ceiling above me. Seeing the great number of sheathed swords on the right of me, latched on my wall. I discerned soft breathing, looking to over my shoulder, Melluna wearing a pink onesie, along with Tenko snuggled beside her. Sleeping soundly.
"Sin." A deep voice in a calm tone, called me.
I sat up and gazed to my left, coming to see dad. Seated on a cushioned chair, a few feet from my bed. Wielding an expression that's extremely rare for him to have. Anger.
His piercing yellow eyes staring at me, brimming with silent fury. I was horrified, it seemed that I couldn't even function witnessing his anger. It's not an everyday occurrence to see him in this state. But I'm the only reason why he is now.
Dad erected to his feet and approached the door. When he opened it, he gestured his fingers telling me to follow. While cold sweat materialized on my forehead, I took a heavy gulp and trailed behind him. Descending the curved stairs and walking towards the back door. Exiting the house, meeting the cool, evening air as the darkened sky above gleamed with celestial orbs.
Dad ceased further movement and turned around, standing over me with a domineering force. He sighed, "Haa… grit your teeth son." Dad flatly worded.
Before I could even react, he ran his fist right across my cheek, sending me back, skidding on the ground. I sat up and seized my cheek, enduring the throbbing pain as it horribly ached. Then, dad slowly approached me, still looking down onto myself. He opened his mouth, and spoke, "son… what the hell were you thinking?" Dad growled, balling his fists, able to see his veins.
Yet, I couldn't look at him directly, my eyes averted to the wall of shadow-eclipsed trees behind him. Still clasping onto my cheek. Attempting to control my breathing, feeling a shortness of air in my lungs.
Dad pointed at himself, "look at me in the eyes, Sin." He demanded. His voice encased with agitation.
I reluctantly shifted my eyes right onto his, my anxiety reaching its peak. Like a giant mountain with everlasting growth. Dad huffed shaking his head, then faced me once more, "Sin, I'm going to ask you one more time. Son. Why did you do that?"
I stood and opened my mouth, struggling to find words, "…I – I need more power…"-Nervously rubbing my arm, I responded once more- "S-So I figured I would try to mix both deity vitals together…" I stuttered as my voice trailed off.
"Sin, what you did was stupid son. You haven't fully controlled your Fiendevor vital – which can already disrupt your mind and possibly kill you in the process. You already knew this Sin… so why even do that in the first place?" Dad asked in disappointment.
I veered my eyes onto the ground, lifted my arms, and clinched my fists. "I – I need more power dad…"
Ignoring my statement, he worded, "Sin, do you know why your body had broken down?" Dad pondered.
I shook my head.
"Just like I had told you Sin, when you overexert your body, it'll break down. Using entirely too much vital, to the point your body can't handle causes you to shut down. Which is extremely life-threatening. The interior of your entire body could've ruptured, and your heart would've exploded due to a substantial build in vital." Dad explained rubbing his neck.
I lowered my head; I didn't have any words to say. I allowed greed to get the best of me. Almost killing myself in the process.
Dad took a knee, and placed both of his hands on my shoulders, "you were surprisingly lucky the first time, able to unlock your kitsune form at seven, without having any damage to your own body. But… this is different, Sin. You're trying to unlock a whole new vital, which this one is 'dangerous' son. Even the greatest of warriors have patience. Use that patience and give it time."- Dad's grip tightened- "I'm supposed to die before you Sin, not the other way around."
I sternly nodded, "I-I understand dad. And I'm sorry about what I did…"
Dad smiled and stood, ruffling my head, "Like I told you before, you're not alone. We're here with you, don't put all this weight onto your own shoulders. Just don't do it until your ready, alright?"
"Right."
With that, we re-entered the house.

Over the past two weeks, I've been training with mom trying to get used with my Fiendevor vital. She also taught me other techniques for spatial kinetics. Such as dimensional wave and wisper.
Dimensional wave allows me to disrupt space and release a dangerous crescent blade. Which can pretty much slice through any surface, depending on the amount of vital you add.
Wisper; is an attack that casts devastating light beams. Plus, just like the dimensional wave, if you add more vital, the power, and speed increases insanely. Mom explained that my grandfather, Astaroth, could make these beams exceed millions of times faster than light.
After I packed my belongings in a luggage and used my spatial kinetics to transport it inside of pocket dimension I made. I descended downstairs, heading to the dining area where my family was present. When I entered the doorway, Melluna dashed to me and rammed her head right into my stomach.
"Oof..."
Her big plum eyes gazed onto me, sheltered in tears, "do you have to go SinSin?" She sobbed, firmly wrapping her arms around my waist.
I lifted Luna and we all made way outside, "yeah… I do,"- I made a bright smile- "I promise I'll come back as soon as Promethius break starts. I'll send letters too, so we can keep in touch Luna." I stated rubbing her head.
"…ok." Luna replied hugging my neck.
After I sat her down, mom placed her hands on both sides of my face, and kissed my forehead. "Be good, ok?" She asked with a smile.
"Of course mom, I promise."
Then dad ruffled my head, "we'll see you later kiddo. Be great."
I firmly nodded and Tenko hopped onto my head. 'You ready Ten?' I asked in my head.
'Yep!'
When I walked downstairs. "We love you, both of you." Dad's voice shot through my ears.
I grinned and turned around, "love you too."
With a smile on my face, we exited the threshold and entered the carriage. Moving onwards to Series Academy once again…
