Act Special

He was homesick. Sky was missing his family and also his friends. He missed his mother's homecooked foods and pestering his siblings. He missed the weekend date with friends. He was here all alone. He could just go home and still have time to achieve his dream, but his notification dinged, making him immediately get up to grab his phone. Today he has a Korean class to practice his Korean, so when the school opens, he won't be outcast.

Sky changed his clothes quickly. The class is in an hour, but he needs to go to the convenience store for lunch because he hasn't even cooked his own food and it's too much trouble to bother his mom for the recipe when he doesn't even have groceries. He is aware that international calls are prohibitively expensive. As he stepped outside his dorm, his lady neighbor greeted him and wished him a pleasant afternoon. He returned her greeting with a bow. At the very least, he knew a little Korean.
