the awakening of the burning one

*SHHHHIIIIING!!!* the axe is blocked confusing everyone in the area (Dawn breathing, 6th form: reflecting slashes) Dai slides his swords down the axe and as Kaori sees that Dai's swords turn a bright red, Dai then cleaves Kaori's upper body off "now leave him be." Dai watches Kaori heal himself as he catches his breath but then he falls and then to still try and stay up he catches himself with his sword, "Dai you're ok!" Sora shouts "Damn straight I am!" Dai slowly moves toward Kaori "oh my fucking God why won't you snot-nosed brat just die!" Kaori then seemingly teleports in front of him but Sora runs up from behind and swings his sword into Kaori's tendons bringing him down "Sora you bastard... I'll cut you into itty bitty pieces!" he holds himself up and then smirks "how about we make this fight a little fairer!" as he mutters that a demonic samurai appears on horseback with its loud trots heard from miles and the samurai has a worn and tattered cloak made of straw, worn and dirty samurai gear, bow and a katana made of his flesh, earrings that held ruby's, eyes that were a charming pink and they read 'lower rank 3' Kaori smiles as the demonic samurai knocks Sora back into the tree "Kenji? I was kinda calling for Hisa you know." Kenji sighs "you know if I'm not good enough you can just say it." Kenji said as he then slices off the top of Kaori's head "ow fuck! sorry, I'm just saying that you aren't exactly my first pick!" Kaori regenerates the top half of his head and gets back to fighting "you take Sora I'll take this annoying little shit!" he grabs Dai by the hair and kicks him in the stomach *POW!* "ah.. fff...fu..." as Dai gets beaten to a pulp "leave him be!" Sora grabs his sword even though he is left dismembered *CLAAANG!!* a sharp ringing is sounded out as Kenji collides his steel with Sora's "you're against me!" he slides Sora's sword upwards and then cuts Sora's shirt, inflicting damage on him as well (I've gotta help Dai! don't give up Sora!) Sora then extends his nub outwards and has Kichi shoot veins back into it as he reattached himself to Sora, Sora then holds the handle of his blade with two hands and focuses (total concentration, constant!) he then strikes his blade diagonally at Kenji and then enters a stance.

Kenji trots towards Sora with his horse and then hops off "wait here." Kenji told his horse as he prepared to fight Sora "are you ready?" he asks as he stances up "yeah... are you?" Sora asks as he slowly shifts from side to side "alright then!" Kenji rushes towards him and clashes with his steel *SHIIIING!* as they clash sparks come off and then Sora slides his blade off of Kenji's and cuts his face but he heals it instantly (flame breathing, 1st form) Sora sheathed his sword quickly (improved: Ignite!) he then shoots out his sword and cuts into Kenji's arms but Kenji heals quickly to sort of trap the sword in his arm "you nimrod!" Kenji yelled before he drives his sword through Sora's arm "Kichi!" Kichi awoke, shooting his tendril-like veins into Kenji's "blood demon art: maddening spew!" Kichi forms a mouth and shoots out a blob of blood at Kenji, burning him like the blood came from the sun itself "you think some hot blood can stop the samurai of hell?" Kenji asked as he headbutted Sora.

Dai was still being abused by Kaori "you little fucking bastard! bet you think you're better than me don't ya?" Kaori asks as he proceeded to Kick Dai "maybe you should just curl up into a ball and die!!" Kaori yells at him constantly "can you just... shut up!" Dai grabs his sword and drives it into Kaori's chest *SHHHINK!!* he then grabs his other sword and swings it towards Kaori's neck, only managing to damage it a bit, like a knife hitting a tree "how pathetic." Kaori grabs the blade of the sword, Sora rubs his head as he looks at Dai "leave him alone you maniac!" he begs while he proceeded to move Kenji out of the way but Kenji stops him "remember, I'm fighting you." Kenji reminds Sora as he then stabs Sora in the stomach *SHINK!* blood pours out the wound quickly, Sora then had some blood slowly drain out of his mouth "Dai..." Sora coughs up blood, Dai looks up at Sora while he's still being kicked by Kaori "what is it?" he asked pathetically as he looks up at Sora bleeding out "Sorry, but this is where we part ways." Sora smiles as Kenji pulls the sword out but he finds the task hard, the sword was stuck in, no lodged in Sora's stomach "what the hell!?" Sora lifts the hand housing Kichi and slams it on the blade, breaking it in two "but before I die, I've got to at least kill a lower rank before I go and croak!" he swings his sword right into Kenji's neck "shit..." Kenji muttered to himself as he quickly heals the wound, Kenji then sent some flesh down to his broken sword, fixing it in the process.

Sora jumps back, taking his steel out of Kenji's neck and pulls the sword out of his stomach "well *huff* this is nothing to me!" Sora stumbles but caught himself quickly and as Dai is watching Sora still fight he grabs sword and slices off Kaori's arms to go help Sora but Kaori grabbed Dai by the scruff of his clothes like he was a cat "get back here!" he pulls him backwards, making him trip backwards as well and then Kaori grabs his hatchet ready to split Dai's head in two "STAY AWAY FROM HIM!! AAAHHHHHH!!" Sora's eyes turn a pale white, his pupils seemingly have disappeared and an orange mark in the shape of a flame ignited on his face, the mark being in the shape of a giant roaring red flame, stretching from his left eye all the way down to his neck (flame breathing,) a nine-tailed fox made of roaring blue flames (9th form: illuminating heaven! ) and he then slices through Kenji's stomach which split Kenji in two but Sora still had more fight left in him.

the fox visage then turned at Kaori who was focused on Sora's movements and then the fox had red eyes with its snarling, the fox then charged at Kaori like Sora and lodges his blade into Kaori's neck, but it doesn't instantly cut through "JUST DIE!!" he bellowed into the forest which even people at the mansion could hear, one even the heavens heard. Sora starts to try harder and harder to dig the blade in but his neck was as tough as iron, Sora then grabbed the sword with both his hands and pulled it so hard he dragged Kaori to the floor, finally slicing his head off and with that flaming fox dissipating to smoke "holy shit..." Dai said in awe at the attack, its speed, its brutality, its beauty and then he stood up, free from Kaori and his beating but Dai looks at Sora's stomach and noticed he's still bleeding "Sora! you're still bleeding out we need to get you to the mansion straight away!" Sora held his wound tightly with hope he wouldn't die and then they both hear a mumbling and as they look, they see Kaori's disintegrating body "you did it...." Kaori's beheaded body stood up and walks slowly towards Sora, while his body turns to ash falling in the wind.

Kaori waves goodbye to his mother and his friends before heading out into the woods with his dad "hey Kaori when you get back, we still have a score to settle!" a friend yells which made Kaori chuckle. Kaori walks around his small settlement with his dad who held a axe "so dad how big is this tree? you've been saying it's the size of a giant." Kaori said with a smirk on his face and a small hatchet in his hand, his dad laughs "oh it's a massive tree, hence why I brought the best wood cutter in the village." he ruffles Kaori's hair around and then continues to walk along with him to the tree.

as the father and son reach the tree they prepare their axes to chop the tree down *THWACK!!* Kaori struck the tree first with his axe and then his father did and the two repeated the same motion over and over "come on dad you can do better than that!" Kaori mocks his dad but then he realises that the sound of his dad hacking at the tree stopped...

he peers beside the bark of the tree to see a disembodied torso that was hanging onto the axe, his lower body missing, vocal chords ripped out and a demon standing there with blood around his face.

Kaori falls to the ground in shock as the demon walks towards him while he continues to eat his dads flesh "hello there little one, sorry for eating your dad but don't worry, you'll meet him soon enough!" the demon gets ready to strike Kaori but Kaori grabbed his hatchet and swung it at the demon, hitting him right between his face "stay away!!" the demon fell to the ground quickly but he rises just as fast, Kaori kept striking at the demon with his hatchet repeatedly as he kept hoping the demon would give up and die.

Kaori then saw the sun slowly rise through all the thick foliage and as the beams of light hit him and the demon, the smell of ash bombarding his senses but he felt a sense of happiness, fulfilment and a small amount of dread as the demon was burnt to a crisp.

Kaori picks himself up and then grabbed his father's axe, he had a deep slashes in his chest, his left arm hanging on by some bits of skin, the demons blood covering his face and chest "mom!!" he yells into the empty forest as he rushes home.

but as he reaches his settlement he was only met with bloodshed, mutilated bodies being everywhere and all Kaori could do.... was cry, cry his heart out as he holds his mom's corpse in his arms, her intestines spilled out and her heart still beating "Kaori... always remember." His mother grabs his head and hugs him tightly with the last bit of strength that resides in her dying body, she kissed him softly on the forehead "we... will always.... love..." before she could even say goodbye to her son, she dies... in his arms and so he covered his face in his mothers clothing, still crying until someone with a pale complexion, red eyes, black hair and some dapper clothes comes to pay Kaori a visit.

as Kaori keeps on fading away into ash he places his hand on Sora's face and then as Sora looks back at Kaori's disintegrating head he noticed something about it, he was crying and then Kaori's body hugs Sora and wraps his arms around Sora (maybe you and I,) before Kaori turns to nothing but ash and has to wonder hell for eternity (aren't so different... I'm sorry and please,) Sora didn't return the hug and just stood there awkwardly (go down the right path Sora) Kaori finally disintegrated into ash, leaving nothing but his clothes behind.

Sora felt strange.... he didn't know if should've been happy his wife's killer died or if he should feel weird now that they're finally dead, Dai carried himself with his swords and points at Kenji "he's getting away!" Kenji had healed himself and he ran away from them, given the fact the sun was rising "get ba-" Dai gets ready to chase after him but Sora stopped him "no Dai, we've already done enough." the mark on Sora's face dissipates slowly, Dai and Sora both rest on the ground, waiting for the medics to arrive.
