A new Idea

Earth. Drake's Duplex.

"That bitch."

He jumped off the couch to his feet, plucking out the chip rashly. Even though he was now on earth, he was panting heavily like the dog was still holding unto his leg.

"Oh, my leg."

He bent and touched his leg. Seeing that every of part was intact, he let out a deep sigh and fell into another couch.

"Jeez! That was sooo close!"

He swallowed and looked around him. He hadn't clean the house since forever. He'd only been about getting to talk to Chloe, the wild girl.

"I should have gotten used to this already. It's only an illusion, dumb Drake."

He cussed at himself, hitting his head repeatedly.

"Now, fuck this girl. I don't want to talk to her anymore. Don't want to have anything to do with her anymore. She doesn't even care that I was trying to get her back with her father. How could she be so heartless?!"

He tried to catch his breath,

"That explains it. Oh... yes. That explains."

He emphasized, rolling in the couch, his face now buried in the soft seat.

"She's a Corso for a reason. The dog is not even fine. So ugly. Was I blind to had thought the dog cute? That huge --- Arghhhh!!!"

He grunted in frustration. He jumped off the couch,

"This won't do. I've got to clear my head."

"Bathroom first."

He rushed in the direction of the bathroom. Then halted suddenly,

"No, clean the room."

He shook his head, trying to regulate the thoughts,

"Uhmmm. Okay, cleaning it is."

He edged towards the pieces of papers he had thrown everywhere and disposable eating plastics he'd taken turns over.

"I don't know what job this fucking bot cleaners I've got do. They can't get anything done."

While complaining, the cleaning bot rolled to where he was and beeped. The robotic voice came,

"You've not maximized my function, Dreya."

"Go the fuck away!!!"

He yelled. The bot beeped and rolled away.

"Maximize, my ass."

He got the place cleaned and headed to the bathroom. He didn't want to use tub. He stood under the bot-controlled fancy shower net and said,

"Hot water."

His eyes widened suddenly,

"Wait, did I just say hot water? Warm...! warm...! warm...!"

He ducked the downpour of the hot water. A drop sizzled his toe. He groaned.

"Where's your mind?"

He grunted and stepped into the warm water.

He'd finished bathing and was dressed in a white hoodie and black pants, standing under a bot-controlled drier hung on a lowered ceiling in the corner of the hallway which led to his wardrobe. Suddenly, he heard a scream from outside.

"What was that?"

He rushed to the window; he'd left the window exposed the previous day because he couldn't repeat the same instructions to the bot.

He looked through the window, twas Chloe. She had a glare stalking her face and was looking in the direction of his apartment.

"What's that wench up to?"

He thought for a while. He knew she couldn't see him through the window, yet he felt a strange urge.

"Am I scared of her? No! Let's see the worst she can do!"

He hurried to the door and palmprinted. He stepped out and hurried through the lawn. The large gate opened before him and he stepped out.

She was already standing outside her own gate too; the both of them outside each other's apartment.

"Do you think that you're so special? Or who do you think you are really! I'm only considerate of you and wish to help you. Do you think I won't get to root of the matter myself if I want to? Do you even know who I am? I'm a fucking genius. At five I already learnt all I needed to know about hacking into all the valuable data of the PERFECT LIFE PROJECT ... at least the core things. Do you think I can't hack into their video storage span and get a detailed information of what happened to my mom and your dad?"

He scoffed, walking closer to Chloe who kept her stance and blank stare,

"I even offered to help you reunite with your father, but what did you do? You bit my leg off! What the fuck!"

He chuckled then swallowed it sarcastically,

"What was I expecting? A cane Corso with the heart of a dove?! Why am I even surprised, the system already qualifies what kinda heart you have. That of a monster!"

He growled at her. She said to him,

"Come closer."

"Huh?"

He quizzed. She nodded,

"Come closer and say that to me?"

She was beginning to move closer to him. He put his hand forward,

"What are you doing?"

Then she started chasing him. He started off running with his back as he shot,

"Do you think I'm scared of you? Unlike you, I have to save all the life I get until I'm able to hack into the system and get myself more lives. Pending that time, I can't let someone who has no goal like you ruin mine! I've got a lot to do. A lot of people to save from ending up like my mother!!!"

"Then why did you come out to talk?"

She removed her sharp edged shoe and hurled it at him. He caught it and groaned,

"What kinda stupid shoe is this?"

"Dork, wait for me."

She yelled and increased her pace. He couldn't run with his back anymore, he turned and made a good run for it.

"What kinda girl is this? Is she even a lady?"

He panted as he ran on till he found a neighborhood and cut a corner. He lost her and hid somewhere secluded. He could see her but she couldn't see him,

"If she doesn't have handful breasts and slight curves, I'd think she's man. And who knows, maybe she did a full scale plastic surgery. Perhaps her father forgot to tell her that she was a boy at birth, but he turned her to a girl because he's obsessed with the other gender."

He watched her search for him in vain. The street was bare and quiet, unlike in the video game.

"How ironic. The real world is a joke, and the joke is a real world."

He scoffed. Suddenly he noticed a group of three teenagers, two girls and a boy, approaching towards her. One of them was too loud,

"Isn't she the wierd girl who became a dog to reunite with her dead father?!"

"Dumbasses, the judgement bots will come for y'all now."

Drake muttered, watching the three. He watched as the men kept on mocking her for a while, but neither did she give a reply nor the judgement bots show up.

"Strange. Why are they together for long and the bots are in no sight?!"

"Get off my property, you creep!!!"

A sudden voice came from the wire fence shielding the corner of the duplex he was peeking from.

"Oh shit. That scared me."

He turned in the direction of the voice. Twas a granny.

"Go away you stray dog!"

The old woman shot at him. Drake's eyes widened,

"Me dog?"

He scoffed, itching his hair in rage,

"This Karen! Fucking bag of a human!"

He raised his voice,

"Her saggy face like a Granny's cock!"

But the noise he had made had ratted him out to Chloe who came for him at once.

"Oh, shit."

He cussed, yelling at the woman,

"I'll hunt you down in the game, you salted muffin."

He went on a wild sprint this time. While he kept on running, something suddenly occured to him,

"Yes. Yes. Why didn't I think of it now?"

He slackened his pace unconsciously,

"What if I take a new form in the video game and make that wild hamster pay. Yes, yes!!!"

He whooped for joy, but then suddenly heard hurrying footsteps from behind him.

"Oh shit!"

He made a quick duck and hurried to his gate. He knew he couldn't wait for it to open, he hopped on a step in the gate's interval, and made a long jump, catching the top and rolling over.

He dropped on the floor and groaned,

"Ouch... that hurts."

He looked up at Chloe who had just gotten to his gate. The gate could never open to her... twasnt her building.

"Not today, bitch!"

He growled and hurried away from her towards his building. He heard her scream behind him,

"Why won't you gate open to me?"

He paused at his door,

"You think I'm a hacker for no reason?!!!"

He cackled and palmprinted. Off he went.
