"What do you think has gotten into him? He doesn't look like the Mason I used to know."
Caidine was the first to severe the silence.
"For how long would you be told that he's neither of whatever we know him as. He's neither Drake nor Mason. I'm sure that he doesn't even know his own identity."
Esme's response automatic pushed Caidine's attention to her.
"What are you trying to say then? I'm not quite following. Are you saying that he is right to do that?"
"It doesn't matter. Myself am tired of all of these. After all, I wasn't a big deal in the first place. He was right. I should not bother about all this and return to...."
She didn't know how to complete the sentence.
"Return to where? I bet you are not sure too."
Caidine made her see the obvious. Stressing it was not necessary.
"I could forget about all this and then resume college. That way, I could make a name for myself and create an identity."
