Chapter 27

On reaching the living room,Mina was surprised to find everywhere deserted.

She checked the bedroom but she found it in the same situation"Han Sichuan?"She called out, straining her ears carefully as she entered every room in her apartment"Han Sichuan!"

A burst of ache and fear began to spread in her heart and Mina began to sob out loudly in tears"Han Sichuan?Han Sichuan!Don't go!Don't leave me like before!"Mina cried out with tears falling out of her eyes.He left her again,she bent over and fell on her butt!"Han Sichuan!"

Mina was surprised by her actions and words but she pushed it aside because whenever it comes to Han Sichuan, there's a certain mystery which is yet to be unraveled between the both of them

Mina quickly wipes her tears as she finds herself childish for crying out for someone who doesn't care about her.Mina begins to go to the kitchen.

She knew it's not even up to 3 days she and Han Sichuan knew each other but she can't help it because it felt as if they've known each other for far more longer

Mina opened the fridge and took out a bottle of water.She drank the water with trembling lips but her actions where interrupted when she heard her phone ringing

She quickly dropped the water and began to walk towards her room hurriedly

Mina quietly picked up her phone when she saw that the call was from her best friend, Xi Xin

"Minmin!"Xi Xin screamed happily,her cute voice entering straight into Mina's ear

"XinXin!"Mina replied back with a dull and tired tone

Xi Xin furrowed her brows and she asked Mina concernedly"What's wrong Minmin?Why are you so quiet?I tried calling your number since yesterday but you didn't pick up.I even called Mei Lan but she said she doesn't know!"

"Mei Lan?"Mina scoffed in annoyance"She..!"

Xi Xin cuts in with a tone filled with anger"Did she hurt you?I told you,Mina.I warned you to be careful with that girl!"

Mina was dumbfounded due to Xi Xin's words"Huh?Why should I?"

"Aren't you so dumb?"Xi Xin scolded Mina"Mei Lan is in love with you!"Xi Xin dropped

Mina fell on the bed due to the shock of what she just heard."How?How's that even possible?"She asked in disbelief

Mina was lost and surprised when she heard the news.Mei Lan is in love with her?How?When!That.That!She was at a loss of words

Xi Xin scolded Mina"Mei Lan is good at hiding things!"Xi Xin explained to Mina, causing a nod from Mina because that's the truth!

Mei Lan has always been good at keeping secrets the same as hiding things. If Mei Lan hides a thing,don't expect yourself or anyone to find it!

"Actually!"Xi Xin lowered her head and voice" I wouldn't have known if I didn't come across her diary!"

"So,that's the reason why she tried to spoil my relationship?"Mina concluded with a frown

Mina doesn't even know if she should blame Mei Lan or she should forgive her.Thankfully,due to Mei Lan's actions,Li Min Juan sickness was revealed early

"Spoil your what?!"Xi Xin screamed at the other end of the phone"She's too much,Mina!What did you do to her?"

"I slapped her.Actually,I have broken up with Min Juan but I'm now with another person..!"Mina said in a low voice upon remembering Han Sichuan's actions

Mina doesn't even know if she and Han Sichuan are still together!Besides,Han Sichuan has seem to disappear

Xi Xin didn't notice Mina's sense of tone because she was excited by Mina's last sentence"Oh babe,you've turned into a bad girl?That was fast!"She screamed loudly

Mina had to pull the phone far from her ear due to the noise her friend was making"How's things between you and Jun gaga?"She changed the topic

"Fine, Minmin.Me and Jun gaga are planning for our wedding!"Xi Xin said excitedly"Get ready,you'll be my bridesmaid,Minmin!"

"If you want..!"Mina smiled gently

Suddenly,Xi Xin pouted playfully"Is that even a good choice,the bridesmaid is more beautiful than the bride!"

Mina laughed"Don't worry baby,it's your day I will be so low-key!"

Mina and Xi Xin both continue chatting.Mina cuts off the call with a smile as her mood has improved rapidly after talking to Xi Xin.She tried to calm herself down telling herself that men are not to be trusted

Han Sichuan is a stranger!Mina thought it's her fault for not trying to know him before having something serious with him but for now and starting from now on she would stop thinking about men altogether.She decided to solve an issue first!

Mina picked up her phone and decided to dial Mei Lan's number"Let's meet!"Mina uttered coldly"At the usual!"She said after Mei Lan picked up the call

Without giving Mei Lan any chance to talk,Mina cuts off the phone

Mina quickly changed her outfit into a white top and blue pant with blue jacket

She quickly took her car keys and walked out of her apartment

Mina waved at the gateman as she drove out and he replied back with a cheerful nod of the head.

Not long,Mina arrived at the coffee shop, unsurprisingly Mei Lan has arrived before her

Mei Lan had always been early whenever it came to her and that made Mina blamed herself for not noticing earlier.

Mei Lan has always been cold,not having friends except from Mina and Mei Lan has always hated it when people tried to get close to Mina

Mina has always thought Mei Lan's actions are due to Mei Lan's loneliness!

Mei Lan stood up,she looked haggard compared to the last time they fought"Mina..I.!!"

"Sit down!"Mina said authoritatively"Order!"Mina called and the waiter quickly arrived

"Espresso for me, cappuccino for my friend!"

"Yes!"The waiter nodded and quickly left

"I..!"Mei Lan bowed her head tearfully and tried to explain her actions"I..!"
