Chapter 41: Holiday Forgiveness

**Aria's POV

Considering the last few days, packing up Christmas presents gave me the Christmas spirit I needed and wanted. I had some gifts for Chase and Emma that I would love for them to have. After crying my eyes out the other night, I realized they just needed to see that I was not a bad person. They meant well, but they were off base about the target.

I didn't dare tell my mom. I knew she would march right over there and tell them off. I didn’t want to see that happen.

I told mom that I was hoping to take over some homemade cupcakes for his parents, and she was more than happy to help me make them. Christmas music and baking with my mom made for a great night.

I was standing outside of Chase's front door, nervous to knock. The last time I was over here, I was getting my butt handed to me for all the wrong reasons. I took a deep breath. I could do this. I just needed a chance to show them who I was. I knocked on the door lightly.
