Chapter 49: Guess Whose Back

Being on the back of his bike never felt so good. I let my hair down, but the helmet that Chase forced me to put on kept it matted down. My hands wrapped around his torso. I could feel how hard it was underneath, and I wanted him even more.

"How are you doing?" he asked, shouting over the wind.

"I'm great just don't get me killed!" I shouted back. I could feel him laugh.

He pulled into the long driveway at his house, and it looked like no one was at home.

"I think we might have the house to ourselves this time." He looked at me and winked. A piece of me fluttered, but I couldn’t say which part. I would love for some extra time alone with him. I felt like it had been so long since we were last able to have some quiet time.

We walked in. He turned on the light, and we heard a gasp. I jumped back out of fear.
