"Stop it!" Patty screamed, again and again, pacing back and forth. She seemed torn. 


I was worried she might jump in and start boxing with them. I felt my body ready to jump in on her, but something held me back. I realized how bad this would become very quickly. Alex was a jerk, but he was a member of my pack. I heard the boys behind me speaking about jumping in to help Triton. They were loyal members of his pack. 


I noticed this could become an all-out brawl between the packs. I shook off my urges to jump in and beat up Patty and started to dash towards the back door. Instead, I shoved my way through the crowd of riled-up kids.
