Kujou Sara and The Tengus

(Lu's POV)

I stayed in Tenshukaku for the next day, as the news of a new God in Inazuma appearing spread to the people. Ei already left earlier, to catch up with some things with Yae Miko. I'm currently in the office of the Puppet Shogun, with her unactivated, of course, expecting a visitor to come. The sliding door opened, and someone walked in before stopping to kneel to the sleeping puppet.

"I am here by your orders, your Majesty!" the person announced with reverence, while the puppet didn't reply.

"No need to kneel to the puppet, Kujou Sara. I'm the one who called you here." I walked out from the darkness and said.

"You are? The new god in Inazuma, said the to be the spouse of the Almighty Shogun! Forgive me for my impudence-" The tengu said, before quickly kneeling, in which I stopped by taking her hand.

"Now now, no need for that. I'm a god of peace remember? Ei is already strict enough for the both of us." I immediately said to her with a smile.

Kujou Sara, the tengu general of the current shogunate. She is also the temporary head of the Tenryou Commission. Which is in charge of the security and military of Inazuma, after the previous head was taken down for colluding with the Fatui.

"You already proved your loyalty to her for me, and that tengu mask of yours signifies her trust." I continued to the stunned Sara, while she took her hand back with a small blush.

"Do you know where she got it, your Majesty?" She asked after some time to calm down, not being able to hold back her curiosity.

"Since Ei already trusts you a lot for her to give that to you, then I should too. You don't need to be so formal with me Sara, just call me Lu." I said, before unleashing my tengu wings shocking the girl.

"Yes, Ancestor Lu." To those words of hers, I couldn't help but twitch my smile.

"Lu is enough, Sara. Calling me ancestor will make me feel too old, and I don't remember having a child." I suggested, hardly keeping my smile.

"Then allow me to call you Lu, but you're the past Great Tengu right?" She questioned, her eyes flickering in anticipation.

"Yes, I'm the Great Tengu Sasayuri before. Now let me help with your wings, so we can move out." I ordered to the bewildered Sara, before checking out her wings. Noticing its fine, we flew and left for our destination.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

It didn't take long for us to arrive in Kannazuka. I scanned the island to see the significant differences, compared to the one I remember. Other than the camps of both the Resistance and the Shogunate, the island is empty.

"How is the situation in the front lines Sara?" I asked to the silent tengu, flying near me.

"There is still tension, but everything is already resolved. We are currently planning for the date of the Peace talks between the Shogunate and the Watatsumi Resistance Army." She answered with a smile.

"The Vision Hunt Degree is already gone, and soon we will abolish the Sakoku Decree to open up Inazuma. It should be right here, follow me." I said, before landing down in a place hidden or below a mountain.

Soon, Sara appeared beside me and we walked towards the place. Inside, we found a village where all the residents are tengus. As we walked near it, two silhouettes landed in front of us.

"Halt! Who are you and how did you found this place?" One of the tengus said, while I gestured to Sara to let me handle this.

"How sad! Can you two not recognize this old tengu anymore?!" I exclaimed, faking my tears as I showed them my wings.

After a few seconds of silence, a look of recognition appeared on their faces. One of them so suddenly ran and hugged me with tears, while the other just showed a genuine smile.

"Ehhhh?! What happened to the Yoshitsune I know while I'm gone, Reizenbou?" I asked the little tengu, as I caught my old friend.

"You're back and alive my lord! Uwaaaaah!" Cried the person I knew for the longest time, sinking into my embrace.

"You have a lot of explaining to do, you sly old man! You left us for five centuries, you know!" Shouted Reizenbou with happiness.

"I know! Let's head inside so we can talk. And I'm not old even if I say so! I just got reborn a month ago after all!" I retorted, before I gestured to the bewildered Sara to follow us.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

"Well, that's everything that happened from what I remember." I said, after telling them what I know.

"That God really is crazy for you huh?" Said Reizenbou grimly, Yoshitsune nodding to her words while resting in my lap as we talked.

"Did she visit you guys or something?" I questioned, curious at their reactions.

"Yeah, a few times while you're gone. Warning us to not get too close to you, though she never really did anything." The old tengu on my lap answered.

"Umu! That's the Ei I know! Always putting up a tough front yet really gentle on the inside." I said with a proud smile.

"You shouldn't spoil her too much you know?! Scold her for the wrong things she did or something." Reizenbou immediately shuts down my boasting, Yoshitsune just nodded with a bit of jealousy.

"Anyways Sara, I planned on bringing you here to these two so they can train you as a tengu. You never really had someone to teach you about it right? And I can't really help since I'm quite busy with some things." I ignored their words, before telling the confused Sara my motives.

"Reizenbou here enjoys fighting a bit too much but has a good mind, while Yoshitsune is just a battle maniac. If you ask her to lead a team her orders are pretty much 'Defeat them and return back back to me so we can find new enemies' or something." I said, and the two tengus blushed in shame.

"Thank you very much for this opportunity Lord Lu, I will make use of it to the fullest! But there's also the peace talks coming up." She replied, after waking up from her confusion.

"Don't worry about it, as I intend to go there myself. Reizenbou, ready the remaining of the tengus too. Once peace comes back, I want you and Yoshitsune to lead them to Mt. Yougou." I pacified Sara, before ordering the other two tengus.

"Yes Lord Lu!" Both of them said as a revenge for the shame earlier, which stopped my smile and embarrassed the strict Sara.

After talking with them for a few hours, I went back to Tenshukaku to finish my projects, and wait for the peace negotiations.
