Kamisato Estate

After everyone left to their own business, I also decided on going to my next schedule. Wearing my usual disguise, I toured around Inazuma City, interacting with the natives while at it.

I never really had time to do it during this month of troubles. Not that I have now, considering I'm still occupied with a few things.

But this might be my last chance to see the current Inazuma, so I can't really pass it up. The Eternity of Inazuma is crumbling, and from here on out, changes will start occurring.

Inazuma started as a nation who strived for peace. Makoto gathered the people around the archipelago under one banner. A nation ruled by a gentle god, where humans and supernaturals coexist together.

They still do even to this date, but their appearances had been nothing but scarce ever since the Cataclysm. The tengus left, to live in the mountains silently. The onis separated, and went on their own way like they did before. The Kitsunes, and the few yokai clans resided in Mt. Yougou. Both the two other gods are gone. The snake rebelled and got killed in the process while the bird... Let's keep that for another time. Done with my stroll, I teleported near my destination.

Just a few seconds of walking, and I saw the Kamisato Estate I intended to visit. Among the three clans who managed the Tri-Commission, only the Kamisato Clan remained fully loyal even with their doubts. They helped those affected by the Decrees, and even petitioned for the Raiden Shogun to consider her decisions.

A great clan indeed, but I'll be seeing everything with my own eyes. And no, I'm definitely not scheming anything... Trust me on this one, alright?

"Halt! What is your business for coming here?" One of the two guards stationed stopped me, and asked.

"Good afternoon to both of you, gentlemen. I'm here to visit the Shirasagi Himegimi. Am I right to assume that this is the Kamisato Estate?"

"Yes it is, do you have a letter or anything for the appointment?"

"...Ah! You mean that letter, let me check for a bit."

I suspiciously searched my clothing, to find the non-existing item. The two guards scrutinized me silently for my actions.

"Hmmmm... It looks like I left it in my place... Is there no other way?" I pleaded with the guards.

"I'm sorry, but we cannot allow you to enter. Please come back again later."

"Ahhh...Have the heavens forsaken me?! What merciless fate!!! Even stopping me to meet the person I idolized the most!!!!!" I shouted to the heavens, before dropping down to the ground slowly. Needless to say, the whole estate probably heard my wailings.

What comes after is an uncomfortable silence. The two guards are perplexed, debating whether to arrest the suspicious person or what.

'Now, let's see if you still won't come out.' It didn't take long for my thoughts to be answered.

"Should I ask, what's happening here?" A peculiar man clad in red questioned.

"Can we leave this to you, Thoma?" The talkative guard pleaded desperately. Thoma, as they called him, nodded and walked into me.

"Get up good sir, I will take you to meet the princess."

"Hmm? Really?! You are my savior! I am truly grateful to you, Thoma is it?" I stood up and followed the guy inside. I also noticed that we attracted quite a bit of attention... just a bit, I promise!

"You don't need to act anymore, your majesty. It's a pleasure to finally meet you, the traveler told us about you." Thoma said as we got inside the house, apparently my jig was already up.

"What an amazing coincidence! She also told me about you!" I replied, and stopped him from bowing.

"I hope that you won't play with our guards next time... If they knew who you are, they would definitely faint." Thoma wryly smiled.

"Hahaha! Its just a small joke of mine, since I noticed you being sneaky. If you thing that I hold a grudge about, then how about calling me Lu as compensation."

"I understand... Lu. Come this way, I already informed , my lady." He went with the flow in resignation, then gestured for me to follow, quickly changing the topic. We continued to talk before arriving.

"I didn't expect for you to visit us, your majesty. You should've at least sent a notice, so we are prepared." I searched for the voice, and saw the beautiful girl I met during the festival.

"But that's the point, don't you think? By doing this, I definitely got better results." Hearing my words, Ayaka just smiled wryly.

"I hope our guards didn't convenience you too much, your majesty."

"They didn't, but if you're worried about that, how about compensating by calling me Lu, like Thoma here. You're being so stiff, Ayaka." I answered to the princess with my usual smile. But why do I feel like she's cursing me in her mind? How strange...

"Well then, Lu. Can I ask the purpose of your sudden visit?"

She played along with my antics too fast! I should punish that naughty traveler later. This is definitely her fault...

"The Raiden Shogun decided to make some changes among the Tri-Commission, except yours. Then, she forced me to come here..." I stated with a bitter smile.

"Don't jest about such things Lu, we heard about how intimate you two were." She replied without breaking her smile, it looks like their information group doesn't slack.

"Sigh* You're no fun, Ayaka. I am here to personally talk to you, a private chat if you will."

It looked like that one caught her attention, seeing how surprised she was. Well, I guess, a god suddenly appearing to chat with you isn't normal....

"This is hardly the place for something like that. Do you mind if we go to Inazuma City, Lu? I know a good place there."

"How bold of you, Ayaka! It's our second meeting, and you're already inviting me to a date! Not that I mind, of course..." I exclaimed with a smirk, shocking the two of them.

"How shameless! Please be careful of your words, your majesty! You're already married!" For the first time, that calm demeanor of hers finally broke as she said, with embarrassment.

"Don't be like that, Ayaka. Lumine told me that you read the novels from the Yae Publishing House, so you should know what I mean. There's always room for more..." I continued with the same smirk, immediately noticing that I had succeeded after seeing the princess fully red and stunned.

"....Eh?!.....I.......Hateful Man!!!" With those final words, the blushing Ayaka hurriedly left the room.

"Well then! I'll be taking your lady for a while Thoma. I heard that you hail from Mondstadt, maybe we can talk about it some time in the future. I might need it, just in case that I have a reason to go there. I'm sorry for what my Ei did to you back then, Okay?!" I stood up and quickly said to the bewildered man.

Noticing him in a daze, either because of what happened earlier with the princess, or my sudden apology, I left the man alone, to follow the flustered lady.
