Bustling City 2

A cloaked man was walking around the streets of Inazuma. The city didn't have time for the suspicious individual, as they had more work to finish before the day ended.

"I will be having one of this, and this... this one too-" He pointed to the available dishes one after another.

The person in charge of the restaurant was agitated, wondering if he had enough money to buy that many. Yet he accepted the customer's orders nonetheless.

If the common folk are busy with the preparation, they even need the help of the Yashiro Commission and the Oni clan. Surely the people up top had it worst... right?

"Thank you for the food." The man said before he started eating. Naturally, he needed to take off his cover to do so.

And! To answer the previous question. It is a big fat No! A lie! Since the person who was silently eating all the delicacies in delight was none other than Dainsleif! The newer visitor of Inazuma.

"I guess arriving here in the Nation of Eternity isn't really that bad..." Dainsleif muttered with a satisfied sigh. He then paid for all of it, using his benefactor's wallet. He was sure it wasn't that old man's money in the first place...

The Tenryou Commission. Now led by the legendary tengu Reizenbou, served by Yoshitsune, the general of the old tengu faction, and Kojou Sara, the current tengu general of the shogunate. Both of the two were second in command after the new commissioner.

The sound of an arrow was heard inside the training grounds of the said powerhouse. There, stood a fully serious Sara, trying her best to use the gift given to her by the new deity.

"Relax a little. You will get the hang of it sooner or later! We tengus need no such items to use the elements!" Reinzenbou proclaimed. She herself was able to wield four elements at an expert level. Leagues beyond a normal vision user.

"...And I am sure you will adapt much faster, with the boost from the special artifact given to you by my adoptive father." The tengu added, feeling a little jealous of being given a gift by him.

"What she said was entirely true Sara. Even back then, all milord said was to swing the blade over and over until you get the hang of it. Doing things repetitively works most of the time." Said Yoshitsune with a nostalgic tone.

She was the one who caused the most trouble, though back in the day, being the musclehead she was... and still is.

Nevertheless, she does bring up a valid point. She might only be able to control two elements in her past thousands of age, but it was well above and beyond what the commissioner could do.

Yoshitsune was stronger and more experienced with the battlefield than the recent great tengu. She was the perfect candidate in the former tengu general's mind to lead the tengus in the future. Sadly, she doesn't have enough capacity in her brain to do so, so the idea was cast away.

"I cannot afford to be laid back! As we of the Tenryou Commission, will be in charge in securing the stability of the incoming festival." She responded swiftly, before firing another arrow filled with two elements at the target. Her two seniors only sighed at her stubborn attitude.

"Come out already little Yae! From what Lu said, the festival would commence at an early time tomorrow. We don't have enough time for your games!" A frustrated Orihime slumped down on the floor at the Nakurami Shrine.

Her student, the current chief priestess Yae Miko, has been acting weirdly ever since she came back from somewhere. She was acting a lot more cheerful than before, then, suddenly getting nervous, and even worse conditions like when she had a really complicated expression as she stared at Inazuma City.

Even someone who knew her a lot like Orihime was having a hard time understanding what was happening to her. She cannot even tell if it is good or bad for her fellow kitsune.

"Kyaah! He actually agreed!" The person herself exclaimed as she hid at the top of the Sacred Sakura Tree.

(But! Did I just force him to say yes in that situation?! If I did, then what should I do?! What if he's mad at me now?! Arghhh! What to do, what to d-)

"You better get down from there now... or I will make sure you won't survive once I obliterate this Sakura Tree." A mad Orihime interrupted the confused lady's thoughts.

Yae had no choice but to compel her as she saw the Fox Goddess draw the elements into herself, staying true to the words she uttered in her threat.

Speaking of confused ladies, there was another! The former electro archon was staring at a wall in a daze after finishing her duties as the newly seated Kanjou Commissioner.

A specific scene flashed back into her mind. Makoto never expected to catch the two doing the... act. She merely wanted to talk to her twin sister when she got curious about the noises from her said sister's room.

(I didn't expect my timid sister to be that wild... And she got her first time taken earlier than me! I was supposed to be the big sister, yet she was accomplishing one thing after another as time went on. It's unfair!)

(But... does it really feel that good?)

Her thoughts were now wandering into dangerous territories...

***

(Where is he?!!!)

A needy lady screamed internally. It was none other than the Electro Archon Raiden Ei. She had been waiting for a few hours now for someone's daily visit.

Yet nobody came. Not even a speck of dust was seen, nor a sound of footsteps was heard as she waited in her slightly more revealing dress. She was clearly running out of patience.

Inside a hidden workshop in the enormous castle of Tenshukaku, was a topless man sweating not from the heat of the surroundings, but from anxiety. The time has come for his final battle.

He checked the object in his hand one more time before trying it out. It glowed for a second before disappearing, and then he waited. And waited... for as long as it will need. It reminded him of those loading screens with 100% written but never continued.

"It worked!!! Hahahaha!" The new deity of Inazuma, Raiden Lu jumped out of his seat in exhilaration.

(If I gave an incomplete formula of this to that ice queen... I am sure she wouldn't refuse my request. Rejoice, Lumi-Lumi and Dain! I will enact my glorious plan, to conquer this loveless goddess myself!)

The man laughed over and over. If he doesn't stop any second now, he would surely turn insane. But fortunately for him, there was someone on their way to help him.

"Moshi moshi~, Taikoubou~? The paperwork is piling up fast here~." A smooth voice was heard by him through telepathy.

"You! You waited for the perfect timing to interrupt my happiness didn't you?!!!"

"I wonder~... Fufufufu~!" She was clearly playing with him.

"So~? Are you coming or not~?" The oni teased with a lovely smirk.

"Haaahhhhh... I'm on my way." Our protagonist relented at the end.
