Elemental System

"As you know, the seven elements are a mysterious power in Teyvat. So, I made my own investigation about it. And I'm sure you're curious about those visions I made too." Lu adjusted his fake monocle to fit the atmosphere.

"It has spread all around the Inazuma Archipelago by now. Sooner or later, every vision user would have exchanged theirs for it. I wonder where the old visions went though..." Lumine stared at him in suspicion, but the deity only stood there with an unmoving smile.

"After observing a lot of vision users, and some unique... elemental users. I arrived at two conclusions." Lu brought out a whole blackboard for some reason.

"The first is the fact that everyone have access to the elements. While the latter being that the mysterious visions are some kind of a limiter, prohibiting us from reaching my first conclusion." He drew on the board. Surprisingly, his handwriting is clean, same with the illustrations.

"Can you elaborate on this topic, Lu?" Kokomi asked, brimming with interest. And naturally, a beaming smile.

"Ever wondered why visions appear in the first place? Especially... on desperate times?..." Lu smirked.

"Oh... Because it's an instinct for anyone to surpass their limits in tough times. 'A cornered prey is more dangerous than a wild one.' Something like that..." Kuki answered. She wasn't a scholar for no reason.

"Exactly! And something like a life and death situation isn't a requirement either. Others get their visions when they mature enough... Mostly us, the non-humans..." Raiden-Sensei added.

"...Because you guys are more attached to nature?" Ayaka said in an uncertain way.

"Right on the mark! What I'm trying to say is, that the archons are not the one who grants visions. And even if they can... Just because they can, doesn't mean they will."

"Think about it! If they can do that, why didn't they make an army of vision users already? Even the fatui resorted to delusions..." Lu answered.

"...I was saved because of my vision, and I'm certain that a few had the same experience as I am. So... I want to hear your complete opinion about it, teacher." Sara pleaded with mixed emotions, as her loyalty to the Raiden Shogun started with that incident. The others unanimously supported her on this.

"Hmm... I do not have an absolute grasp about it, yet... But if you're talking about a theory, then I'll gladly give you one." His monocle unusually shines with light.

"Every being in Teyvat has access to the elements the moment they are born, like I said earlier."

"They will then receive an elemental blessing from the world which results in the variety of vision users, something like affinities. Mostly one, but there are some rare cases of dual elemental users... And maybe a few chosen ones can even do more..." Lu stared briefly at Lumine, after recalling the wandering samurai.

"Anyway! That ability will remain dormant until they mature. Most of the times, when they found themselves in a difficult situation. In which they will mysteriously receive a vision, that created the false information about the elements." Raiden-Sensei finished.

"Who are the providers of the visions then? Do you have any idea, Master?" Kokomi probed with an irresistible stare.

"I'm sure our bizarre traveler here already knows... But you guys need not worry about it.

(We aren't in the endgame yet...) Lu added in his mind.

"I can assure you on one thing though. Unlike those fake articles, my visions enhances control over all elements. Control is my specialty after all." He smirked.

"Changing the subject and leaving us hanging in the dark once more... How surprising." Ayaka sarcastically stated.

"I'm fine with it. It's not my problem anyway..." Kuki shrugged.

"I'll trust in your judgement, your majesty." Sara's back at it again.

"Can you please inform me about it, Lumine?" Kokomi changed targets.

"...Ziya will give in if you bother him enough, positive." But the blonde deflected it brilliantly.

"Cause more trouble for me, and onto the gallows with Shuten you go, Lumi-Lumi~." Lu threatened with a happy tone.

"Try it if you can." The two both left out some unnerving chuckles, which disturbed the others.

Kokomi wasn't smiling though...

"Going back to my lecture! And, I forbid any interruptions this time. I made an entire elemental system for you to absorb, so... Focus, alright?" He clapped loudly. And the others only responded with a silent nod.

***

Origination - The easiest elemental ability. It allows the user to manifest something using the elements.

Infusion - Combining the elements with a physical material. In which case, enhancing its strength and even providing unique abilities.

Armament Formation - Similar to the first one, except the fact that it lasts longer while also being more difficult to achieve. Mostly something the person equips.

Realm Creation - The pinnacle of elemental mastery. Creating a domain where the person's powers are absolute.

"Is this the types of abilities you can perform using the elements?" Ayaka questioned in wonder after he finished writing.

"No shit, princess. Have you fallen for my charms that much, to not even comprehend something so simple~." Lu teased, as he turned back to them.

"N-No... I mean... Arghh! You're so..." The Kamisato lady fumed.

"So... What?" He only continued smirking.

"Hateful!...Tch!..." A flustered Ayaka averted her eyes cutely.

"Does this determine a elemental user's strength, Lu?" Kokomi butted in with an odd smile.

"Not at all. Someone who miraculously created an armament wouldn't exactly win against an veteran vision user that specializes in origination. It only ranks them by the difficulty of doing so." He explained.

"For example... My lovely secretary here, Kuki's ability to make a whip out of electro is close to an armament. But that doesn't really mean that she would win against Ayaka's infusion/origination expertise right?" Lu stated with an unfazed serious face.

"Now you've done it! Either kill yourself or I'll do it myself!" The shinobi immediately opened fire- I mean... unsheathed her weapon.

"You look lively! Did something good happen recently~?" The deity continued to tease the enraged Shinobu as the others held her back.

"As a reward for all of your brilliant answers. I have prepared some exercises for each one of you!"

"You need to get stronger for my bet after all." The females stared at him menacingly for answers.

"Oops! Did I say that? My bad..." Was the last thing they heard, before getting transported to another place.
