Chapter 26: Zeus Vs Adam

[ If you haven't read Record of Ragnarok to the latest chapter, this chapter contains spoiler who wins the fights and who's the next candidate]

Akuma looked at the stage as Heimdall announced the fight between Zeus, the King of Gods and Adam, The father of Human kind.

" So, that's Adam? The humanity's hope for this round's fight? Interesting... He is quite a powerful human." Akuma said, sensing the power. He uses his observation ability at Adam.

Abilities:Godly Strength, Godly Speed & Reflexes, Godly Endurance & Stamina, Indomitable Will, Divine Reflection, Godly Beauty, Godly Durability.

Remark: Can perfectly copy any techniques he sees by using Divine Reflection. ]

" Hmm, You know what... Let's end this game as it is quite boring" Akuma said, looking at the stare off between Zeus and Adam as he raises his arm up and a glowing light appeared in his hand. The Gods immediately sense a foreboding feeling as they see the light Akuma emits. Zeus who's ready to throw his hands at Adam sense himself getting weaker as he looked at Akuma who looked at him, emotionless.

As if the universe was gone in an instant. The light was gone as the only one present was Akuma as he feels his body and mind getting stronger, he also sense his body getting bulkier as the numerous godly strength was transferred into his body but with his Absolute Adroitness. He controls his massive body from getting bigger into a smaller but lean muscular form of his.

" So, this is the combined power of all Humanity and Gods... It's super strong and I feel free from any restraints." Akuma said, looking at the desolate void.

" Well, that's cool. I'll rewind time to the previous state of this universe so that I can continue watching the fight." Making up his mind, Akuma rewinded the time to where Zeus and Adam had a stare off. Opening his eyes, Akuma looked at the stage to where it all began and finally, Zeus and Adam fight each other as Zeus was the first one to attack. He attacks with a barrage of jabs at Adam as each jab kept getting faster and faster but Adam dodge it with ease as he give it back to Zeus who tried to dodge but as time goes by, He was getting hit more.

Zeus was pushed back by Adam's punches while Adam look at his fist and looked back at Zeus. Zeus then uses his combination of Meteor Jab and Divine Axe, a technique that is powerful enough to separate the body. Adam dodges the attack and copied it to just give it back to Zeus who was hit by the attack.

Knowing that he can't defeat Adam with those two techniques he used, Zeus uses his trump card that surpasses the time and punch all of his might to Adam. This happen in an instant that Gods and Humans didn't even see it coming before Zeus fall down. Gasp was heard around the audiences as they didn't know what happened to the fallen Zeus but Akuma saw everything. He saw how Adam copied Zeus attack and uses it to Zeus who can't dodge the attack. Making him fall down to the ground while Adam was standing still.

Adam who saw the twisted neck of Zeus, walked away but as he walks away. Zeus got up and twisted his head back and uses a technique that compresses his muscle. This technique let's Zeus become invulnerable but this technique also strain his body and can only use it for minutes. With the final technique of Zeus, he continued the attack to Adam who dodges the attack but the longer they fight, the heavier and faster the punches of Zeus attack.

Knowing this, Adam didn't dodge Zeus's attack and instead did a mano e mano type of fight. Adam uses his Divine Reflection but the blood of Zeus splash his right eye, making his eyes go overheated from using his Divine Reflection. Causing him to gone blind from the fight as he finally blocks the attack of Zeus. Zeus take advantages to this as he pummeled Adam back and forth using his True God's Right/Left. An attack that uses all it's might as Adam gets injured. Adam finally let go of his defense as Zeus punch Adam but this is just a bait as he grabs the hair of Zeus and punch him to his face.

Zeus also grab Adam's hair as they punch each other for minutes until Zeus can't keep up with it anymore before he goes to his knees. Heimdall then announced who wins the fight when Zeus told Heimdall that Adam is dead. Surprising the crowds, humans crying for Adam and Gods respecting Adam but also cheered for Zeus.

Akuma who watches the fight felt his blood boil a little but he resisted it, knowing that if he joins the fight. All of them need to fight him to raise their chances of winning to 0.00000001% or never had a chance to win.

The next fight was between Poseidon and Sasaki Kojiro or known as History's Greatest Loser. The fight between them was somewhat not appealing at the start but as fight getting longer, it is getting interesting and the crowds cheer to the fight. Until Kojiro finally killed Poseidon, making the Gods enraged and bewildered for their first lost to the humans. Next was the fight between Hercules and Jack the ripper. The fight takes place in london bridge as Hercules agreed to their request.

The fight between them is less gory compared to Thor and Lu Bu but the tricks that Jack uses to corner Hercules was something. It was amazing to the point the Gods are gritting their teeth to kill Jack on their own. As for the one winning, it's Jack the ripper with the use of his blood.

The next fight was Shiva vs Raiden and the way they fight was also awesome, the dances of Shiva and how he slashes Raiden, making a massive scar and how Raiden's injuries closed up by just his muscles was quite a spectacular to the fight. The win goes to Shiva of course by the use of his powerful kicks, cutting off the head of Raiden but Shiva also suffered grave injuries as his three arms was destroyed and cannot be used anymore.

Next fight was between Buddha and Zerofuku but the fight only finish quickly and when it was ending in a good way, Zerofuku suddenly transform into a demon, Hajun. Buddha was having a hard time fighting the demon and since Hajun is not part of the competition, Akuma interfered and the Gods tried to stop him but he uses my Aura that makes them weak on their knees and some even fainted. he killed Hajun instantly by consuming him as he go back to his seat.

Also, the reason why he showed them his power is to make sure they don't try anything funny. Next round was between Hades, King of Underworld and Qin Shi Huang, King of Five Nations, the person who united China.

The fight between them was intense as Hades fight for revenge while Qin Shi Huang fight for humanity. The one who wins the fight was Qin Shi Huang.

With that finish, Akuma looked at Zeus who's injured and said.

" I'll be going now, you also know that humanity might win these fight. With the infighting of the Gods, their might be a betrayer in your faction. Anyway, I gotta go to my next destination. Goodbye" Akuma said as Zeus nodded. Akuma then teleported back to his Haven and greeted his family before he uses his Reincarnation Cycle.

The wheel spins as the abilities he got was, Infinity, Fortune and Prodigy. As for the world, it is... *Drum Roll* FFF Class Trash Hero. A world perfect for Akuma.

" Now, this is a difficult one. While being an original character would be good, being Kang Han Soo is awesome to try. For this one... I'll try to become an existing character for the first time. A character that is similar to me but at the same time, different" Akuma said before the portal opened and sucked him in.
