When a man's world crumbles, what's left is the blame and anger. Jefferson Walsh had lost his son, Ethan, and before they could bury the little boy, some evil had stolen his corpse and done the worst. He blamed it on whatever psychopath was out there. Jefferson had stopped grieving. Anger was the only thing his heart could feel.

At the moment, the Sheriff followed Lars Taylor into his office. They've compared forensic results from the first time they found Ethan and the second time. His shoulders had dirt from a wet earth smeared all over it, as if the hands that had pushed him at the hospital had rolled in a damp forest.

Now they discovered his body in the woods, and it was the same wet and sticky earth that had been on his skin the first time, that was there now, all around him and at the site they had discovered his corpse.
