Infidelity

Earlier...

Lisa had just concluded her meeting with Zohar, the rogue alpha. She had returned back to the Brennan household and picked up her wrangler from the street and rested her head on the steering, sobbing with reckless abandon. She missed him already so badly. Her heart wanted to hate him for leaving her. They could have found a way. They would have. The saddest part about it all was the way she could feel him, all of him, and yet he wasn't even there.

She heard a voice. "You could fill up an ocean at this rate."

"This wasn't what we discussed, Zohar. I don't need you in my head all the time."

"Or else." She could feel him smirking and wanted to slap it off his face. "At this point, there's nothing you can do about it."

"Get out of my head. Now, I mean it."

"Seriously, Lisa. He's gone, you should let it go and remember what's important."

"Are we bonding now?"
