After collecting the flesh and soul, Quinn continued his journey to gather more as fast as possible. Fortunately, not every monster had the Earth Wolf's defense. Quinn was able to kill them in a few strikes.
It was already approaching lunchtime, when he finished killing monsters. At that span of time, he levelled up the skill to the max. When he made it reach Tier 1, he was actually able to give either one elemental attribute or a main mastery to the puppets he made. When they're given that mastery or elemental blessing, they can learn skills related to it twice as fast. That means, he can have his own specialized team in the future.
At the same time, Quinn gathered enough flesh and souls to make 20 puppets, which was the max, and also a few extra that he planned on cooking.
Quinn did a quick check to make sure he really did get everything before deciding to go back home. He also noticed that his level had risen by another two. It looks like it won't be long before he reaches Tier 2.

If he felt like working hard, he could probably do it in two days. If not, a week at most.
Anyway, Quinn casually flew back and also killed monsters that obstructed his way, adding more to his meat collection. There were also more chests where aside from the minimum resources he could get, he had gotten another skill called [SPRINT] that accelerates his running speed by 5% for every level.
Quinn actually ignored this somewhat useful skill. He could already fly, why would he want to run? Moreover, his flying speed was already as fast as Tier 4 beings. Maybe he could level it up when he gets bored in the future. It's just a matter of minutes for him anyways.
Since he wasn't actually so focused on killing, he reached home much earlier and just in time for lunch.
When Quinn got there, he caught a whiff of
a delicious fragrance that made him drool. He wondered where the smell was coming from until he saw Anrod roasting some rabbit meat he probably got inside the warehouse.
Anrod upon seeing Quinn, he again stood straight and was about to bow when Quinn stopped him before he could. Although, he liked showing off, he really wasn't used to being worshipped like this. He then told Anrod that it was enough to speak to him politely.
Quinn then refocused his eyes on the roasted rabbit and Anrod took the chance to show off his cooking skills.
"Village Chief, since I didn't have anything to do, I took the initiative to cook for your lunch. I took some rabbit meat inside the warehouse and cooked it with some herbs that has a few medicinal properties that could also greatly enhance the taste."
Quinn drooled before hurriedly asking when they could eat. His stomach was already grumbling because of the smell. Fortunately, it was almost done and soon enough, it was cooked well enough and they decided to dig in.
Quinn felt an explosion of flavors as he bit into the meat overflowing with juices. As he tore through the flesh, there was another burst of fragrance that assaulted his face, as if trapped within the meat and only escaping just then.
Both men, quickly stuffed themselves like there was no tomorrow. Fortunately, the rabbits here were huge and was enough for both of them. Soon enough, Quinn and Anrod had bulging bellies.
Quinn let out a loud burp, disregarding his status as a now glorious Village Chief. He landed a pat on Anrod's shoulder to show his appreciation. Unfortunately, because of his strength that he didn't control and Anrod's weak physique, Anrod was directly sent flying.
Quinn was speechless by his crappy body. He quickly retrieved some healing herbs and used them on Anrod.
Anrod smiled bitterly before saying, "Chief, I think it's better if you just express your thanks verbally."
Quinn agreed since he didn't want to accidentally kill this chef of his in the future.
Both of them quickly tidied up. Quinn looked at the furnitures that was still outside and sighed. "Ah, I'm still too lazy to work" Quinn, who travelled miles to hunt, was now unwilling to move a few furniture.
Quinn then decided to wait for tomorrow and to make a telekinesis skill to move everything at once. Before that, he wanted to idle for the rest of the day.
Not knowing what to do, he just decided to jump on the bed and browse the forums once again.
After reading for a while, he realized that although some were still struggling for basic resources, more and more were actually starting to use the trade function. More and more resources were being circulated between the players.
A few pro players were also starting to appear. For example, there was a man who called himself 'Strong Man Stan' who trained [STRENGTH] up to level 3. Now, he's level 5 and has three times more strength attributes than others on the same level.
He bragged on the forums and told them how he did it so everybody knows about it now. Previously, most people were discouraged to train the skills after seeing the proficiency requirement.
After seeing Stan's post, a lot were motivated to train once more. Even if they only levelled up one attribute skill once, it was enough to double that attribute every level up.
Quinn also found that he had become famous in the World Chat after his acts of selling a bunch of items and being the first to reach Tier 1. Despite that, some were actually still comparing him to Stan, the reason being Stan had triple attributes in strength and he could probably smash Quinn in one punch.
Quinn scoffed and said inside his head, "How can that boorish man compare to my awesomeness?"
Not to mention Quinn, any ordinary Tier 1 can kill Stan easily because of Tier suppression. Because of the people's ignorance, they actually thought Stan had a chance to fight Quinn.
Quinn also surprisingly found another strong person. It was a Japanese girl called Sumi. The girl was low-profile compared to Stan but Quinn was still able to roughly guess that she was just as strong as Stan, or even stronger since she had been selling high level meat lately.
There was also a cunning Chinese businessman that managed to create a Merchant Alliance that gathered and sold a variety of items.
Basically, powerful people were already starting to rise among the players. Quinn took note of these people not because he saw them as potential opponents but because he thought some of them as potential subordinates.
Quinn studied the market for a while and found that he still had an edge over the others. Right now, he can slowly start selling Tier 1 weapons and then sell them in large batches when the overall strength rises once more.
First, he was going to sell 6 Tier 1 weapons that added extra points to each of the six basic attributes. This was the new function of weapons after reaching Tier 1, they can increase one of the basic attributes.
Quinn guessed that they will increase more attributes at once on higher tiers.
After posting them on the forums, it again created a strong wave of commotion. People were amazed that he could already sell Tier 1 items. This also indirectly revealed some of Quinn's strength as it shut up those who were comparing him to Stan
The trade requirements this time were the materials needed for the Mana Gathering Array Formation. He had already made the blueprint and only needed the materials.
Quinn made sure to get as much as possible this time since he planned on making a large scale Array Formation that would cover the whole manor, if not the whole territory.
Moreover, he also wanted an Elemental Gathering Array Formation. It worked the same as the Mana Gathering Array Formation, except that it gathered the elements in the surroundings. Its function was to speed up the training of elemental skills.
Quinn then browsed randomly in the forums to keep up with the players. He managed to make some idle talk with a few people and was even able piss off some.
All in all, Quinn had a good time idling as time passed by. Without him noticing, it was starting to get dark. His attention was only broken away from the screen when Anrod came over to tell him about dinner.
"Oh right, don't use the normal meat in the warehouse. Cook this instead." Quinn said as he handed the meat he had refined before.
Anrod was surprised before receiving it. He unconsciously took a sniff before exclaiming in amazement, "Chief, what is this? It doesn't smell bloody at all. In fact, I can smell a faint fragrance from it."
Quinn was also momentarily surprised since he had never taken notice of it. "Maybe it's because that meat was refined of all of its impurities and only the purest essence was left behind."
Anrod nodded in amazement once more before saying, "This is definitely going to taste wonderful if that's the case."
"Haha, hurry up and cook then. I can't wait to eat my first delicious dinner since arriving here."
Anrod immediately went to get the order done. He got some some pots and pans that was littered somewhere around where the kitchen materials were gathered and cleaned them with some water.
Anrod ended up making some simple soup with the meat as the main ingredient and added various different herbs that Quinn collected before.
The result was still surprisingly so delicious despite the simple ingredients and procedures. This meat would definitely turn into a treasure in a professional chef's hands.
After the meal, Quinn rested for a bit before finally preparing for bed. Laying down, he could see the stars since he was sleeping outside. Quinn also had Anrod sleep on a bed and wait for tomorrow for his new skill to move all the stuff.
And so, Quinn's consciousness drifted off into dream land.
