I walked inside and I looked around.

The air around the room was stiff. I did not know what was wrong but with one look at Andrew and I knew that they were discussing what was going on. I did not say anything else because I knew that Andrew will fill me in on things soon.

Everyone looked at me and my father as we made our way to our seats. I was surprised to see Jane's boyfriend Sean but I knew he might be here to help.

"So I informed Mayla. She will live at her mother's place for a few days and try to pick up on things. Maybe she will find something useful till then." I said as I sat beside Andrew.

"And how was her reaction?" Andrew asked as he raised his eyebrows. The care was visible in his eyes. I could tell that he was genuinely concerned about it as if he knew how violent Mayla could be.
