{ CHAPTER - 43 } A FRIEND FROM PAST

The dim light, which couldn't fade away the darkness inside the room, had many people sitting on a big long rectangular table under it.

Almost everyone had their faces covered by the dark, but the darkness did not hide the intense pressure in the room.

[An old voice: "Did anyone contact 'him' by any chance?"]

An old and rusty voice spoke from the corner of the table, where it was the darkest.

Replying to the old voice, the person sitting slightly in the middle of the right side of the table spoke.

[Another voice: "No! No contact of any kind has been made as of this moment. We also don't know 'his' whereabouts either."]

Right next to the voice speaking currently, another person thumped the table as he spoke out worriedly.

[The person to the right: "This should not be taken lightly," they said. "The person in question is not someone whose position can be taken lightly. We should immediately dispatch a follow-up."]
