{ CHAPTER - 97 } THE WILL THAT WILL BURN (2)

Karma returned to the cabin with Agastha that night, having made little progress.

He was disappointed with himself for failing to burn the log. But he couldn't do anything.

With that discontent in his heart, he closed his eyes and fell asleep.

The next day, Karma arrived at the training area before everybody else and placed his palm on the log.

He created flames in his palm and attempted to burn the wood once more. But, once again, he was unable to fire the wood.

That night, too, he returned to his cabin, dissatisfied. But he wasn't ready to give up any time soon.

He returned to the training area first thing the next morning and attempted to burn the wood once more.

Sparda handed him lunch at noon because he had started his training without eating anything.

This cycle has continued, and Karma has been in the sanctuary for 50 days.
